I haven't skied in 229 days. The 15 day forecast on accuweather looks

incredibly shitty and I lost hope in that weather website anyways

'cause I've been disappointed by it too many times. Kids are shreddin'

in Colorado, its dumping in Whistler, Vermont is ready, even Big

Boulder got there shit together. I know, theres kids starving in Africa

right now, wars being fought and terrain parks being terminated all

through the country. But for the love of God, what does it take to just

get a week of cold weather in New York?!

Bottom line: I'm bored, I need to vent and need someone to join me in a snow dance.

well whiteface is blowing snow as we speak and its cold enough to blow snow all week so in tendays when she opens expect to be able to ski all the way down

it bs at mt. hood right now too.. its mid november and we have had i think 4 weeks straight now with hardly any precipitation and totally sunny.. so strange for the NW. It all went up to BC&WA.. nottt fair.  they forecasted for today and all week.. but it was pretty much totally sunny today.

word. my mountain aint getting shit neither. its crazy types of frustrating seeing evry one else in the northern hemisphere skiing.

I don't know where you're talking about, but my area of New York (Western) is looking like they may hit opening for Thanksgiving weekend as cold is hitting Thursday and staying straight thru Thanksgiving.

It all looks good to me so far!

Theres very small hope for me that Bristol could open maybe the 25th or something. The last 5 days of the 15 day forecast show it getting colder in that area. But, like I said, I don't trust accuweather that much and a lot could change in 10 days. I've only seen snow once this month for like two hours...damn.

even though some places in colorado are open, they are dying for snow last year. last year at this time most places had about a 2ft base allready and breck has an 8 inch base now

it hasnt even snowed here in MA this year so consider yourself lucky. its looking like this weekend its going to get cold in the east though so i dont know how its going to be so warm in NY. they are even talking abuot some flurries on thurs night and sunday morning. i feel for you though. i need something to open up close that isnt 4+ hours away.

Noaa.gov is showing lows in the mid-20s from Thursday night thru Monday night with chance of snow every day and night from Thursday thru Monday for the hills South of Buffalo.

I'm keeping optimistic about Thanksgiving weekend personally.
