This is seriously insane, and I'm just confused

Ok, I think she actually never does a full rotation. Her foot moves half way to the right, half way to the left and alternates.
 
they simply change her direction every time its viewed... i sat there forever the first time i went to the page and she was spinning clockwise... then viewed it again and she was going counter-clockwise... the also switch which leg she is standing on from her right to her left from view to view... and its not EVERYtime but every few views or so... just refresh the page, then go back and forth with the back and forward buttons on your browser... and you shall see.... its just a trick man lol...
 
Counter clockwise for me. But it has to do with your brain for whoever didn't read the page/knows nothing about the brain.
 
Well not that exact thing, seeing how its on break.com but there are things you can do to test if you're left or right brained that you do appear completely different to the seperate people.
 
and thats what i was trying to prove that break.com is full of shit... but i dunno this time ... seeing as its only spinning one way now... but whatever...

 
man i stared at this thing for half an hour yesterday. most of the time it went clockwise but once and a while it would switch
 
no man sometimes i just look away and it changes direction. that thing was pissing me off all day yesterday!
 
It spins both ways for me. First clockwise, then counter. I don't know that this can determine whether you are right or left brained. I think that's something you can decide just by knowing who you are.

 
Pretty crazy but I first saw clockwise and I can occasionally see counterclockwise but clockwise is more dominate but I would say that Im more of the other brian type. weird
 
This is definitely bullshit. Just watch it for a while. You can't get it to change direction with your brain. If you close your eyes and convince yourself its moving clockwise, that doesn't mean it will be, which I find is different from other optical illusions like the 3d triangle that you can see pointing in different directions. If you watch it for a while it the animation just randomly switches direction.
 
if you can get it to change directions watch it clockwise and see how here left arm is straighter and her head is tilted to the right, then change it to counter clock wise and it's reversed. so crazy how it works

It is an illusion, she rotates clockwise and anti-clockwise, you can

tell this as the arm that is extended changes from left arm up to right

arm up and this depicts which way she is rotating. The intervals that

she changes direction vary so you think it is you mind doing it.
 
nope, look at it for a while, like 3 minutes, you will see her arms change from right arm being raised to left arm raised or visa versa. that wouldnt be able to happen if it was a unchanging looping image.
 
No shit. I walked into my room to see my roommate going crazy over this and I was like "you serious man its just a illusion/trick its not actually testing your brain" and he just denied it. It's fake, it's on fucking break.com! it depends on how you look at it. Optical illusion for short.
 
its real, if you open it in photoshop or something you can see where the loop starts and ends. to get it to change direction look from the left edge to the right edge, and vice versa, then blink and look at it normally.

if you go cross eyed and look at it you can kinda see how it works, she just kinda wobbles back and forward :)

if you cant see it the other way then stare at the foot that stays in place and stare at the shadow underneath it. then look back up

nothin helps me, ive looked at it on and off for about 10 minutes, and can't get my brain to make her go counter-clockwise.
 
haha dude u got it. i was just about to post that. just do this and you can make it switch rotations. just kinda zone out while keeping ur eyes fixed on the foot. kinda look at the heel instead of the toes and it changed. took me a while but i can switch it whenever i want now
 
wierd, very wierd. its not a trick, i can change it at will now, its whether shes spinning backwards or forwards. makes my brain hurt.
 
what the hell? how can it be any other way, I see her foot come closer on the right side each time and go farther away on the left, how could it be the other way
 
yeah its definatly not a trick you can change it at will if you get the hang of it. so its definatly not on a timer to start spinning the other way at a ciertan time.
 
yeah it has nothing to do with your brain, its just an illusion you can force it to spin both ways instantly if you look at it enough
 
No, its definitely real, I just had 3 people in here and i said it was clockwise and they said it was counter, it switched at all different times for us
 
i figured out how to make her go clockwise or counterclockwise at demand. i just stare at the where her legs intercept and twitch my eyes. then she'll automatically reverse direction. i like little delusions like that.

i dunno why any of you guys were refreshing the page?
 
pretty bizarre. i opened the page and it was definitely spinning CCW, then i read the descriptions and looked again and it was spinning CW.

they refuse to believe its an illusion and insist that its staged or has something to it...pretty much like any member on break.com!
 
thank you sherlock, I think we all know this is an optical illusion. Regardless, depending where you look, she appears to be spinning different ways.
 
OH IT JUST CHANGED DIRECTIONS. try this. think to yourself like which foot she's using and try and concentrate on her spinning the other direction. it will get your brain thinking and switch it for a little
 
i have stared at this thing countless times, tried all of your methods. her right foot, the one sticking out, moves from right to left(CLockwise) any way you look at it. i dont see any possible way how it could be CCW. maybe the up and down bobbing motion could be considered CCW, but at no point did she even come close to switching for me at all, she is spinning clockwise, it doesnt even look like there could be another way? what am i missing?
