Saw this on the news. That's just fucked up, I mean there is much worse on the internet but still this guy's a dick. Someone should find this fuckers phone number so we can give him hell.

Joking aside though, it's pretty not cool. If he did it just to do it, it's super fucked up. But I also feel like nobody would just go out and shoot a horse. Especially a cowboy-kinda-looking guy. They respect horses and treat them super nice. Unless they're fucked in the head.
 
can watch a man get his head cut off with a machete......can watch a man getting shot to the head multiple times at point blank.. But when it comes to animal cruelty, I have no stomach for it :( Idk how people can do such horrible things to something that doesn't even pose a threat to them.

The horse had no idea whats going on, it didnt feel any pain. Instadead. Id rather not watch it die but its not like it suffered. Everyone saying this is cruel better be a vegetarian
 
its just cruel in a humane sense. a horses life carries a lot more value then a chicken or cow that was raised to be slaughtered

do you guys ever care to think that maybe the horse was lame, sick, or for all intents and unknown knowledge needed to be put down anyways?

we put our dog down with a .22 round because he was sick, had tumors, couldnt walk right or lay down correctly and was just plain miserable. does that make me sick, twisted or a terrible person? no.

if i made a video not telling you guys that but said what that guy said, does that make me sick and twisted?

i would say it makes me an ultimate deuschbag. not sick and twisted.

my dog, and that horse did not suffer. it was killed instantly, and humanely. it never felt a thing. any movement from that horse that you see afterwards is an involuntary reflex.

i seriously hope that this horse had some kind of issue and they were putting it down anyway.

if not, its just fucked to do it for fun or a political statement.

since horses normally are pretty expensive, its really a weird video.
 
Yeah, read the title and I could go without watching this. Horses are usually expensive as fuck too, if the horse was completely healthy he really is a dumbass.
 
while i agree that posting it on the internet was a poor decision, it certainly wasn't an inhumane way to kill and animal. he shot it right in the head.

the guy works at a horse slaughter plant. he killed the animal to eat it.

I killed that animal for my consumption. If I had shot that thing in the guts or the legs or beat it and left it in the pasture for the coyotes to get at, it’d be a different discussion. I shot that for my human, my personal, consumption.

I'm not gonna watch that, but worse things happen. He's not the worst person in the universe, it was not an inhumane way to kill the horse, he didn't torture it or nothing. However, if he killed a perfectly healthy horse just to prove a point or for whatever he was doing, I'll call him a dumbass because horses are very expensive. But yeah, the video really didn't need to be made and posted on the internet. That was an error in judgement.

the video is gruesome, and easily taken far out of context, as he was specifically addressing activists opposed to horse meat. but what makes a horse any better than a cow, deer, bear, moose, elk, or any other legal livestock or game people can take?
 
I can't really judge. The horse could have been lame. Having to shoot your horse is about the worst thing in the world.
 
I was curious and watched it now i'm depressed. SUch a disgusting thing to do. THe horse was eating and then suddenly was dead, because of a fucked up asshole. I wish he fought the horse to his death. Nevertheless, Monsanto is worse.
 
Monsanto is a corporation that is profit driven! Period! They don't give a damn about the people, they just want to patent all the seeds and then control the worlds food supply, that has more power then any weapon, or gun, or bomb! They already bully farmer's in this country with lawsuits. And have won doing it! They are a monopoly, a world monopoly. In India they charge 4 times for seed then for regular seed and set it up that the farmer's could not buy from anyone but them. This caused many farmer's to commit suicide! Because they had to borrow money that they wound up not being able to pay back if they had a bad crop because of weather! I would call that evil! Start growing your own food!
 
I would be mad if they shot them, or slit their throats, but to inflict the most pain on these animals is sickening. There is mighty evil in this world all effectuated and exploited to assist those who are recipricants and beneficiaries. It is the want, the greed of money; the competition, the sake of time, the insight of being better, the excessive desire to possess wealth or materialistic objects of abstract value so as to keep for yourself. All done for wealth, power and status. THis is ruining our delicate earth. Individuals are losing their earthly and spiritual ways, living, following and breathing these powers, in a bubble that is impossible to pop. However, ones’ determination in believing and caring in something or someone outside of oneself, devoid of any personal gratification could keep the nation, the world alive. We the people are powerful and can stand up to these powers, such as Monsanto, if we oddly accept our ignorance. And through our curiosity and determination, because that is the one thing the powers do not encourage, curiosity, we can alter the mindset of hundreds, awakening a new generation, a responsible generation. Not necessarily. The bullet did not completely wipe out its conciosness because the horse did not go limp, and its brain is very different than a typical human brain. That guy was probably properly pissed at peta, but still, such a mean thing to do to a horse that had no idea he was about to die. Really sad

This guy is a fucking dick. not for shooting the horse, I don't have a problem with that, it died way more humanely than most farm animals. (and why the hell is a horse more valuable than a cow?)

He is an asshole for filming it and saying "fuck you" to animal activists. There is just no legitimate reason to do that. He didn't need to glorify killing it or try to offend others like that.
 
I think the opposite. I could give a fuck what peta thinks, the humane society kills dogs for a living. I think its fucked up that he ended that horses life, and it probably did suffer, and its just sad. That horse died for a stupid reason
 
I am also assuming he had a legit reason to put the horse down. If he killed it for no reason then obviously that would anger me.

Exactly, I was quite angry that individuals were degrading the death of others just because they were foreign. Sandy Hook, children died supposedly, even though the official story is a complete and utter lie, but nevertheless people cry and morn the deaths of children in this country, while nearly 200 innocent children have been obliterated by drone strikes in regards to Obama's presidency in foreign countries. He exploited the Sandy Hook children to push gun violence, and for people not to see this is unfathomable. He upheld a drone strike on a 16 year old US citizen living in Yemen because of crimes against speech. Where the hell is due process, it seems as it has been thrown in the trash! The most dangerous ideology is patriotism. It lures you to believe that your country is the greatest and no other, when all countries are equal as well as all people. In any case, many people do not look into the issues regarding other countries and ignore obvious atrocities.

It's okay though because the government has just closed all documents regarding drone strike death counts, now the public will never no. In any case, drones strikes hit their supposed targets 2% of the time. Obama, has put more troops in the Mideast in his first two years than Bush did in his whole presidency, and people ignore this. I am an independent and vote for the candidate not the party. Although, i did vote this year.
