They just announced on ESPN on the "X-center" that it was hurting his ankles, and that he wanted to focus on Pipe.
 
wow that sucks. they were talking about tanner when they were advertising ski slopestyle for tomorrow after they showed the women's snowboarding superpipe. tanner probably just wants to make sure there isn't a repeat of last years superpipe results.
 
He said he wasn't competing in slopestyle, very clearly, so this is no surprise. With the way the judging goes it only makes sense.
 
Yeah, i dont blame him. Plus he was sayin in a interview that "getting gold in pipe" is the last acomplishment in his competition career. I think hes gonna win pipe.
 
GotamaBC..... i can't remember a 12 done in the X-Games pipe. The only person i know of that does 12s in the pipe is Greg Tuffelmire, and i don't think it was X-Games. Last year T$ stuck a 10 at the end of one of his runs.

nah tufflemire is gonna come into pipe and throw a 1440 to win, remember folks, he did a 1260 3 years ago, so the 1440 wont even be hucked
 
well, hmm. tanner kinda just blew everyone away at USFO in pipe... it's between him and candide if they both have perfect runs.

He said he wasn't going to compete, he said that. Period. If it's hurting its hurting and he said he wasnt going to.

And all this Candide talk...I love him and hes insanely sick, but he hasn't put up some big performances in the most recent X-games...You're all just giddy for a cork810 to rail....Which if goes down=Gold...but still...It's such a tough trick.
 
i dont care who is in it as long as somebody hits that hufe flat down because none of the boarders did
 
Hahahaha I hope Tanner falls in pipe. It would be sooo funny to see him through another hissy fit and throw his skis at people and throw punches at people that try to console him. hahahaha
 
No it was at the World Skiing Championships. He fell at pipe and then flipped out and went and sat by himself away from everyone else. He threw his skis like a baby and just sat there pouting. Some of his friends went over to try to console him, and he started throwing punches and just being the biggest baby I've ever seen, so they left him alone. Talk about a poor sport, jesus.
