I’m just praying that pa will start making snow before january

There will be a window coming up next week. Even this Thursday/Friday could be a window. But right now it’s looking like 8 days out for a real window. Had showed steady in GFS for a few days now.

In south central pa near me its mostly lows of 34 over night. A few low 29 nights, but that wouldnt really be enough for making snow

really wishin 7 springs was closer rn

7 springs was around 20-30 degrees all weekend and they got a few inches of snow, not one gun was used, yeah some is gonna melt with the higher temp week coming up but not all of it.

old days of big boulder in it’s prime they made snow any second they could and it’s why they were open early November -mid April for years
 
Doesn’t look like it got that cold out there just based on their local weather station. 32 currently. Cloudy and snow showers and high humidity. Not really there yet for temps.

I’m in the Big Boulder region, we have not had temps yet this year, and Vail won’t push it. No one has yet in region, it’s just to warm

yea 7 springs deff could have opened for thanksgiving weekend like they used to do, not sure whats going on with them

sucks for me I probably won't get my first day on hill until after finals in december

Ya it looks like at least the next few weeks should below average for the most part, now if the mountains are actually proactive about snowmaking idk if that’ll happen
 
Blue Mountain still hasn't updated there projected opening date of 26th, still hope for a November opening for PA homies.

I have temps in Poconos Friday night and will turn on. Marginal, but I have to start/test. Looks like following week there could be a 3 night maybe even a day stretch depending on temps to continue. Would imagine most other PA ski areas are on same page as me.

Are you in snow for a resort? Blue is saying 26th still and I think they're placing their money on the next week blowing opportunity. Think 26th is realistic?
 
They wont have a ton of production time and mediocre temps. I’d say for that date, if they open it’s 1-2 trails with minimum coverage.

Yeah don’t see anyone making that happen.

I had a 6-8 hrs window tonight of marginal temps and pulled the plug with rain coming in Sunday. I’ll turn on Mon night and Tuesday night, maybe even most day of Tuesday. But that’s the only window in 7 day forecast
