You can learn a 3 off a 5ft. table if you wanted because it's all basically the same. You huck, look over shoulder, and land. Doing it over and over again, pratice, will nab you that 3.

pop evenly and firmly and set with shoulder and hips,

most people set too hard with their arms or head, causing them to look down or up and throwing them into a off balanced 270s landing on their sides.

turn your head/neck/shoulders the way your spinning, make sure you set FORWARDS or you will end up landing on your ass/back or standing it up and getting shin splints which eat cock. So spin your upper body upright and forward, and the rest of your body will follow. Once your good there start trying to keep your body spinning without braking at your hips/stomach

learning it on a 5 foot table wont help you, 3s dont translate to bigger tables well if you learn by hucking them. learn it on a good sized jump, preferably the biggest jump youre comfortable on. spin with your whole body and dont huck it

It's different for various people. I learned on a wicked small "jump" and I was able to bring them to larger jumps (40ft.+) without much trouble.

what i did is i went off a hip, if u spin left go onto one that u jump from the center to the left, if u spin right jump from center to right, and if u can land a 180 try that, since u are already kinda turned for it u dont even have to put effort into the spin, once ur comfortable with that, spin hard so u can get a 3 down, it wont be a full 3 but might be easier to try, i dunno worked for me but who knows

the easiest way to learn a three is on the intersection of two trails where ones a little bit higher and there a little jump carved out then you only have to spin 270 but you can get comfortable with the spin then try it in park off small jumps
