what the fuck ....kids are killing this core site man...im actualy blowing off some steam....evry palce i look kids r being dick heads....search bar.....fuck that give real advice for kids who need it......skiing olimpics?...best thing to happen o far, to be reconized as a true sport by the whole world....stezze, its ok but its gettin outa control....whatever happened to kids wearing a coat not casue a pro wears it but casue they actualy like it.......all this is just anoying...anyone feelin this or not?

I agree with you on the wearing what is cool. I wear stuff I like, not too baggy but it still fits. kids that are short wearing XXL clothes is rediculous. but other than that this is NS and that stuff happens all the time.
 
I feel the same way! But the site is just a bunch of 13-16 year olds who havnt had there balls drop... Someday they will mature....

what i am saying is that its great to have ur own style, i do, but some kids have idols and they try to be like them, whats wrong with that, i there werent people like that thesport wouldnt progress. u see what they do and then try to improve on it, whats wrong with wearing the same clothes as some pro skier
 
haha I could tell you to use the search bar because this has been discused about 85 times but I hate the search bar. The fact is there is always going to be people being dicks and there has been for a long time. Just suck it up and dont be such a bitch about it
 
im only 15, but i dont know what side im on, i just like to ski thats all, i dont care wat other people do, i just know hat i like to do, and that is having my own style, but i also like what the pros are doing
 
im starting to post now, i used to just check NS to read the news about skiing, but i decided to start reading forums and shit, plus im sick, id rather be skiing right now than staring at a screen
 
back in the day...we used the main forum to meet up on weekends to ski, and the only arguement was about racers....but then another 40000 or so joined
 
haah dude youre such a tool. if it wasnt for pro skiers wed all be wearing fate pants with knee patches and jackets without goods. so fag off and stop complaining.
 
well, things change. ive been on forums where the mods kept a very tight leash on what could be said. word filters, banning if posting anything bad. whatever. it was a great source of information. but it kind of just got boring after a while.
 
this is what is wrong with the site...not that it will change...but ppl get judged based only on post count...which is retarded...but in this case the kid did totally contradict himself in his next post so it was justified...but until he says something stupid he shouldnt be judged by his post count

ppl on ns should be innocent until proven guilty (smart until proven a newb)
 
christmo...i just bought a new ski jacket, xl and im 5'9 because i like it...not because i thought a pro was wearing it, and i doubt a pro has it cuz it isnt a ski company!@

i know what you mean by the clothes, i sometimes get looked at wierd because my jacket is kinda old, but i don't care

4.skiing should not be about conforming to certian rules especially freestyle. If you have pencil steeze, gorilla steeze, gangsta steeze, preppy stezze whatever the fuck steeze it should not matter

ok so here's the deal: why should people not try to look cool? like, what is this huge stigma attached to looking cool? its like a double negative, the cool stuff is cool but its also uncool because its cool. I like to look good, who doesnt? im not saying you should go out of your way to buy the biggest, newest thing out there, but there is nothing wrong with finding something that you like, and that others like. it feels good to have someone say "wow man that jacket is dope" and there is nothing wrong with that. and quickly, on the topic of brand identity, the whole reason people wear DC or any other sports related (or in general, any brand) is because its seen as cool. otherwise we would all wear noname clothes. so really, it shouldnt matter. let people wear what they want, and if you dont like it, dont go out and buy it.
 
i agree, pros are just models for the new gear. they arnt supposed to be creative
