Ok, I had to post this, because it's crazy, and also a good lesson, the link below is the Dos Media cult's latest update, Jared Dalen, Moment Team rider, hits I-80, and starts a crazy avalanche, look at the pics in the team update...i would copy them into this thread, but you should read the team update and picture captions!

Also, Jared Dalen is the Moment rider who was seen in the MTV series Scarred

yea, i think he posted it, to just let people know thats hes actually been getting shots with jared...
vids in a private gallery somewhere though....

"Jared Dalen has been a skier I have had my eyes on for a while. I was fortunate enough to film one day with him... it was a scary one at that..."

hmmmm...i wonder...

ha nothing to fret over man.... Bentley was late to getting there cause of school, so jason being on hand with a camera... filmed it... and then gave bentley the shots... Im pretty sure they got alot done that day with him actually being there... Just be stoked its sick.

So he was landing on a steep-wind loaded slope....and I don't see a ski cut or really any sign of them making an effort to make the landing safe? I really hope you posted this to raise awareness of what not to do. I'm not trying to be an ass or anything, I just don't see why you would ever want to put yourself into that kind of danger when it's so easy to do control work on a slope like that.

both i-80 and half dome suck as names. it doesn't look like a half dome, and yosemite already has a famous half dome - that actually looks like one. and i-80 makes me think it's a road gap.

thats my input in this debate.

everyone i know calls it Half Dome, or the Wall. and if you live in tahoe and have seen it. it looks like half dome from the freeway.

its been called half dome since dude have been hitting it high on blow in the seventies, mac dog productions has killed this jump 1000 times over, and just about every rider i know in the tahoe area has hit it, its not that special, i think kevin jones cab9'd it about 20 years ago, keep trying guys Donner is a big place ad there are so many other places to go

Thanks Dave for posting this. We were aware what was going on with the snow and everything that morning showed that the snow had a day to settle and i guess it just didnt turn out that way. He was fine if anyone is wondering.
