I cheered him on in front of my computer. That took some mad balls to ski a modern GS track with 230cm skis without edges!

I love that ski trick. My oldschool buddy showed me that yesterday. Its pretty hard man!

If you look closely they do have edges, but primitive, dull, screwed-in multi-piece steel edges.

didier is such a boss is the only one who won 5 times kitzbuhel even on his last season!!!! he has had so many win in his career

and don't know if you even understand how hard to ski an injected slope with wooden skis without edges and lether skiboots and the old bindings is!!!!

he is such a Man cause i'm pretty sure no one would be abble to do it even me

it's sad to see him retirng since is still winning

but it's such a pleasure to see him leaving the competition this way! i saw it live and it was one of the best moment i've seen in comps
