cool, the kids riding and looks like hes having fun. I bet his parents dont even buy his gear. keep ridin for the heart and not for the hype man.
 
He's better than most other people on here, just think of it as the new progression of skiing. We are already seeing the rise of the gaypergaps, and the nopoles. . . Next step; gators, NorthFace jackets and goggle/helmet correct fit.
 
it looks like his body is really misproportioned or something... if he learned how to ski and not be sketch as fuck, he could be legit

That's part of the problem with skiers these days. It's easy to go learn the park without actually knowing how to ski.
 
this proves how important style is in skiing,  he can do like 7's and shit, but he is still way worse than someone who can do a way steezy 3.
 
your post is kinda like that guy's skiing. gaper dude up there saw some tricks in a video, and tried to throw them off jumps before he had the skills to make them look good. you heard some words like "conversely" and "universal," and you tried to throw them down without the skills to use them correctly. only difference is that gaper dude has balls and is not a hater. he's like the napoleon dynamite of skiing.

 
i bet he is from a small town in hicksville, and he just saw skiing liek that on tv one day, and was like i can do that to, and he has with no one else around him skiing like that. i have seen that before people can do nasty tricks like that but they dont have the stez and they could care less about it
 
Lol all the people who are mad at him are just hating because he kills it so much harder than they do. Hes fuckin good, and so what if he has a different style, since when does everyone need to have your idea of style?
 
wow, such a high level of critique from the ns kiddiies, haha.  I grew up skiing with Birrion, he has been throwing this stuff for the last 5 years.  He may not have style, but for one he does whatever he wants, hes been rocking no poles way befor andy or pep did it AND the best part about a guy like this is he could give a fuck less about what a bunch of fags bashing him on NS think.
 
Not to say that i am a style whore or something, because style is about self expression and people can do what they want and i could care less what other people do or wear.

But..... he did some good tricks but just didn't really look in control.

i think he should learn some control before tryin that stuff. But if thats just how he looks when he spins in control, then go for it.
 
That's only half the problem. The other half is self-consciousness. People care more about how they look skiing than they do about skiing itself. The guy in the video is a breath of fresh air because he clearly doesn't care how he looks skiing. for me, that offsets the fact that he learned to jib before he learned to turn. the kids that drive me crazy are the park rats who dress up their lack of basic skills with carefully coordinated outfits and a healthy dose of gorilla steeze mixed with afterbang.

 
and THAT is why jibbing is so fucking easy. it does not necessarily require good skiing technique to do acrobatics off a jump or slide a fucking rail.

i wonder why you dont see skiers like that ripping up big mountain lines...
 
mate i dont hwere you come from hating on my literacy. maybe you should look up the defintions of those words, because they suit perfectly if you ask.

ps, im not a hater, im all about skiing for the love of it and the fun, and a despise all the flaming that goes on here. but i also feel strongly about this sport and its progression

those two standings sometimes conflict to a certain extent, but as you will notice, i did give the guy some props, whilst at the same time outlining my personal opinions

i made that pretty clear, if you care to read it thoroughly there was both some positives and negatives in my comment

look, im sorry if ive offended people here, or given them a wrong idea about who i am or what i stand for. but if you knew me, youd realise how passionate i am about this sport and its progression, and how much i believe skiing is about having fun. if you go through my posting history you will see countless, thought provocative posts posts about skiings direction, and in particular, my desires for a skiing world tour to put in place, based largely on the surfing WCT model.

the purpose of me making that original post was to make a much wider point about the world of skiing and its direction. sincere apologies to those ive offended

It kinda looks liike he doesn't know the basics of skiing, like turning and shit. He looked super skecthy before and after the jump/rails. Not bad though
 
someone should just help him out a little and send him a message to join NS- his heart's in the right place and hes got lots of potential for sure- just need to refine his steeze a little, NS style.
