URGENT ALL MINIS AND YOUNG ADULT RIDERS

As of today, February 10th 2009, all motorcycles and product/parts for motorcycles and ATV's for

kids have been made illegal to sell in the USA. ALL of the manufacturers

Honda, Yamaha, Kawisaki, KTM, Cobra, Polini, Polaris ALL have instructed

there dealers to take all of the motorcycles and ATV off of the sales floor.

They have also been told to no longer sell parts. This law was past to

protect kids from lead in their toys that they might chew on and somehow

motorcycles got wrapped up in it. We have just got off of a conference

call with Congressmen Tom Self and the other manufactures of motorcycles.

Tom Self has set up a website that will send a letter to all the people of

this commitee to get their attention. We are trying to shut down there

email and fax machines here in the next 2 to 3 days. Please go to

www.tomself.com .. and put in your name and address

and the letters will be sent. Make sure to do a letter for yourself and

also have your wife, children, cousin, grandparents, coworkers, ect. We

need millions of letters to get this done. The Motorcycle Industry Counsil

has the paperwork in Washington to be signed but with all of the stimulus/

TARP stuff going on no one will stop and take the time to look into this.

Please send this information to anyone you have contact with. This is

happening and we need YOUR help. If anyone says different do not believe

them.

for some reason the video didn't load....but it seems like you're saying that motorcycles/atvs would be banned?

I'm calling huge bullshit on this.
 
yeah whats its saying is that all motorcycles and parts that are targeted to sell for kids 12 and under are now banned to sell in the US. If you look at Honda, Kawasaki, Yamaha, and suzuki's websites all of there mini's taht are targeted to sell for young kids are off their sites.

All of these bikes had to be removed from dealers showrooms and they can no longer sell parts for these bikes.

So now all youth classes have to be removed from racing and these kids cannot ride at public tracks.
 
im not sure if i believe this, it just sounds too retarded to actually be true. but if it is that just pisses me off, our country is fucking pathetic. thats ruining thousands and thousands of kids dreams, its gonna make companies go out of business, there is no common sense at all behind this ban.
i dont get it, its to preevent lead poisining with little kids? and its for bikes 12 and under? what kind of 12 year old would put lead in their mouth? kids stop doing that shit at like 4. from what i read its only cause little kids put shit in their mouth, it make sense to be strict about kids toys, cause yeah babies and really little kids might do that with little toys, but how the hell does someone manage to put part of a motorcycle in their mouth, or even think about it? if what im getting is right and this isnt fake then we honestly have legit retards making our laws. kinda scarry

I kind of agree. But instead of a total ban, make it so they need some sort of permit or license for it. And make it somewhat hard so they actually have to be somewhat knowledgeable about the machine to pass. I don't mind them riding, just make it so they won't kill themselves
