Think the prophet 130's are big?

i just went to a shop and they had a pair of 150 width lines. the guy at the shop said they arent in production yet but they might start to make them. they are white with like brown designs on them, sort of floral design i dunno. they are soooo big its rediculous

I don't get the point. Unless you're insanely obese and have the most heinous gorilla steeze ever, something like that is completely worthless. There is nothing progressive about a ski like that, it's just the same as everything else except wider.

that's pretty huge, well over half the width of a snowboard. I'm looking at my snowboard right now and it's hard to picture putting two skis side-by-side and having it be way wider than my board.

that is the elizabeth graphic on the prototype prophet 150. id try em, I hate how line caps all their shit. id rather a side wall ski. all of pollards skis have sidewall and not capped.

they're next year's model and they're gonna put these skis in shops but anybody's going to buy them so its stupid to put them on the market.

what's the solution to having no brakes? Cranking up the din and breaking your legs when you fall?

Not very many people understand the obsession with bigger skis. Once you go big, you never go back, and you want bigger and bigger skis. These skis aren't marketed for the general public.

Those 150s are too big, but they are coming out, and won't delam like the other lines (moship flites, prophet 100s). I skied the sumo one day this year and they are a beast too (like 125mm), but quicker than expected and easy to stomp around on. I have skied 100 plus for a couple years and switched back this year to Nordicas (92mm) and have had a lot more energy and style in my skiing. Worth a look.
