That's like saying NATO armies are conjoined. The U.S. Army may oversee what they do, but we are trying to make them self sufficient, so we aren't going to be babying them constantly.

Eleven, America is the largest arms dealer in the world. It isn't a secret, everyone knows. The missing weapons was a very predictable event. The war is ran like shit, agree? Well so was the weapon delivery to help out the Iraqis. It was poorly handled, and again, everyone knows that. There's nothing shady going on there.

Personally I'm happy that they are saying this shit about Iran because it shows that Bush is loosing major support for escalating things with Iran. First it was the uranium enrichment program for WMDs which was utter bullshit in so many ways, and now they're trying different angles to gain support. It'll pass and even if it was true, we have done it and still do it now (selling arms). It's a way we get indirectly involved with controversial events while at the same time obtaining major greenback.
 
You clearly know nothing about the United States roles in the world during the 20th century. We supplied Bin Laden and Saddam with weapons. We sponsored the Contras in Nicaragua. We supply the Colombian government with equipment and weapons. We sponsored and then left hanging the Bay of Pigs invaders. We have been arming insurgents in small proxy wars throughout our dominance, and this is a principal reason other countries don't like us, and rightly so.
 
And a little side note:

What would we have to benefit from this war continuing? The thought that we are supporting the ones opposing us is retarded. The last thing our government would like is for this to continue you jackass.

Yes this is sick shit and that's why it made such headlines. Honestly, I was not surprised that this happened because I already knew that the war in Iraq is a shit show. And to let you know this happened over the span of a few years, not at once... making it all the more less surprising and all the more predictable that this has happened. But please tell me how we would benefit in arming the insurgency against us. I'd love to hear what reason you hold.
