No I prefer meditation, or yoga, or being active. Cooking in like free therapy and entertainment. My left over pain killers made me feel good when I was rly rly down. But those are gone and that’s a good thing

Keep some of the equipment used through the years.

Wish I would've kept my first pair of skis from when I started back in the early 80's as a youngster. Would like to do a timeline of skis from then until now of what I have used through the years.

drugs do not discriminate based on income. I went to one of the highest rated highschools in Ohio and we had a terrible drug problem. 8 years after graduation and 12 kids out of my graduating class of 220 are dead from drugs

My plan is to never sell a single pair of skis I own. It’s a piece of history for me, no point in trying to resell my used skis for a few extra bucks. So many fun memories on each pair.

How those in a position to love skiing with all they've got are way more in love with money.

I think I get what your saying. Are you referring to people that have a ton of money the slope side condo and the hot tub at a mega resort and ski weekends but just like to be disgustingly rich and this is a way that they can flex their money.

Yeah but more than just weekends, like they own a 1st or 2nd home in the resort town. And the flex looks core, but you get to know them better and you can see it's fake.

Ski bums living out of a beat up Subaru with duct tape holding everything together live and breathe skiing. I was expecting people who don't have to worry about money being more so, not less.

Interesting I definitely always looked down on people like that although its hard to tell sometimes Ive met rich people that breathe skiing but its much less then I anticipated. It's like the exclusive club If you have enough money for a place like that your probably splitting it with 30 people for a weekend or filthy rich and an asshole. I had some women gat mad at me for wearing lime green snowpants when I was like a freshmen in highschool. "look at these kids with their twin tips and bright pants" in a genuinely mad tone to her husband.

I hoard my used skis to their like art pieces to me one day ill do something with them but ultimately I would like to make a wall with all of them over my entire life labeled.

Waterproofing only works 3 times

When you buy a real tech fabric instead of washing in nikwax on shitty track pants from Goodwill it does.
