Things to do in the durango/pagosa area?

I just graduated high school about a month ago and moved out to pagosa springs where my dad resides. I can't go skiing or do much physical activity for a few months because of medical issues. I have no friends or anything out here. I need a place to start. I was thinking about doing some stuff at FLC in durango. Anyone have any suggestions for things to do get a start in a new life out here? I would usually go for a job, but I'm restricted in that respect too.

I'm finding it hard as an introvert to make friends. Any tips are appreciated!
 
I was thinking about just bumming around FLC. I'm keeping an eye on the FLC calendar to see if there any cool events coming up. Do you go to FLC?
