Things to Bring on a ski trip

Me and a couple of people are doing a week long ski trip to CO and it's about an 11 hour drive. What are somethings I should bring for the drive or just for skiing.

weed and beer for the car ride then adderall and cigarettes for skiing

Energy of some sort whether it be Red Bull or caffeine pills. If you’re up late on the road u gotta stay awake.

your fav snacks

extra layers. (Never know about the weather. I always overpack on the road. Had to change a tire in 5 degree weather. Prepare for the worst)

12lbs of keef

Not to be the wet blanket, but I’d be careful of what you pack in the car on the way there. Cops in the less enlightened states neighboring CO love to pull over out of state cars on that route to poke around for goodies, and you’re probably better off buying once you arrive anyway.

Two bags of grass, seventy-five pellets of mescaline, five sheets of high-powered blotter acid, a saltshaker half-full of cocaine, and a whole galaxy of multi-colored uppers, downers, screamers, laughers... Also, a quart of tequila, a quart of rum, a case of beer, a pint of raw ether, and two dozen amyls

Being practical, make sure the car's good to make the drive as well. Bring along jug of windshield fluid and a quart of engine oil so you don't have to stop for those along the way and pay more.

Just pull your liners out and they'll dry overnight

They don't. Not even close. If that worked, boot dryers wouldn't be so popular. If it works for you, you must just have really dry feet

Try putting your liners somewhere dry, such as in the vicinity of a radiator. My liners definitely get wet, you just gotta have them dry in a heated space, not something like a garage or car. Idk if your 2 piece shells just leak tons of water or you're standing around in puddles but I've never had my liners be wet the next day even after a long tour or skiing in the rain.

My feet sweat like mad. I can get away with just taking the liners out if I'm somewhere with a dry climate (NM/UT/CO etc) but if I try in the PNW it ends up just disgusting. A few years ago on a trip to Revy my brother got a rare lung infection after we had 5 guys in a hotel room with wet gear for a week. Never went on another ski trip without a boot dryer since

I live in New England where we get plenty of moisture and the liner out strategy has worked great. 5 guys in 1 hotel room is probably gonna be gross regardless of what region you’re in.
