I recently got my $150 Ray-Ban wayfarer sunglasses stolen from me. I am still pretty salty, however, on the bright side I guess now I get to buy a new pair. So what I was wondering is what is the thing that you have gotten the most upset about being stolen from you? Or, share some crazy stories of catching someone in the act, or tell a story about something that you have stolen, just share some cool/funny/entertaining stories that involve stolen things.
 
when i was in grade 8 or 9 somebody stole my minidisc player from my backpack that was in my gym locker.

kinda stupid that i didn't have it locked, but you figure nobody is gonna go through your bag in the 45 minute gym class..

i also had a pair of skis stolen when i was like 19. i had them separated at the hill, and both were gone. kinda creeped me out, too. who the fuck manages to track down two skis in different spots and take off with them while im having lunch?!

needless to say, im a lot more careful with shit now.
 
Someone stole my TI-84 calculator which I stole from my teacher who stole it from a rummage sale.
 
i stupidly used to leave my wallet in my centre console of my truck. Learnt the hard way.
 
Chambreezy first night of wearing it. Passed out at a party and it was gone in the morning. Lesson learned never leave your Jiberish unattended.
 
Went to my friends apartment after class. Left backpack with laptop in backseat. Came out after hanging and found backpack open with no laptop. That was a hard one to come back from.
 
i don't think I've ever suffered a major loss, I've only ever had petty things stolen

like last week at work, I left my work camera and its case there while the battery charged and someone stole my USB cable....fucking people
 
Some dickwad stole my phone. 2 or 3 bikes have been stolen.

I know who stole my bike too and its some black guy who is now in prison for accessory to a murder.

I hope his whole family gets the same because they are all a ton of inbred white trash (he was adopted) assholes.
 
Some prick stole my nice ass white football leggings out of my locker so i was pretty pissed about that, vigilante justice always will win the day though
 
little sister stole $80 from me when we were kids and spent it all on candy. in high school someone stole my Fox cap off my desk when i'd gone to the bathroom, and 4 grams of bud when i threw a party, and my blackberry at aftergrad. cops stole my buster a few months ago. dad stole and cooked and ate my organic spaghetti a few weeks ago. and a lot of good books and video games have been stolen from me over the years. now that i think about it, people are fucking thieves.
 
I finally made the big purchase and got back in to mountain biking, then, on the night of my 21st birthday someone made off with my baby, I've never seen her again... but if anyone ever runs into a giant reign with a "Scnoquampton" sticker on the top tube feel free to beat them up
 
Had a pair of composite poles stolen from me by some gaper asian woman. I saw her walking away with them to her car and promptly caught up and gave her shit for it and took them back. I'll be skiing mountain creek all this year so I'm gonna have to lock all my stuff up all the time.. Not looking forward to that.

Those who steal ski/bike/climbing/skate or any other outdoorsy sports gear do not deserve to be called humans anymore.
 
my purse got stolen out of my aunt's car. for whatever reason she never locks her car because shes invincible and nothing bad will ever happen to her. just to me.

Someone stole my phone once. Knocked me out cold from behind and just ran. Don't walk through dark parks alone at night, drunk...

And some fucker stole my parents' car a few years ago. He then wrecked it, and is now paralyzed from the waist down. Karma is a bitch.
 
Someone stole my textbook About a week before a big Chemistry test. Luckily I found it out in the hallway a couple days later.
 
One time somebody broke into my house and only stole two things;

The light bulbs out of every light/fixture & our pillow cases. Don't ask.
 
My phone and phone charger, my wallet, and a KC off my light bar.

All separate occasions, all equally as shitty.

Back when Hollywood video was a thing my bike got stolen when I went to go rent a movie. The dumbass rode down the street when me and my dad were doing some yardwork a few days after; my dad noticed before he got to my house and jumped in front of him, grabbed him by the shirt took my bike back and told him to wait while he called the cops. I was 11 and this kid was easily in his 20s.

I've had booze and beer stolen from me while throwing parties, I've had pow turns stolen (snaked) from me on the hill, recently had my dakine backpack with about 2gs of green stolen from a buddies car. My bike was stolen about a month or so ago.

I have never experienced having something stolen from me (knock on wood), but my mom's friend had her SUV stolen a few years ago. The thieves didnt notice that her black lab Selma was sleeping in the trunk though, and after like 6 hours after the car had been reported stolen someone found the dog wandering around alone this shipyard just outside the city.

Oh and one late night when me and my best friend were in the line at McDonalds to buy food (yes we were shitfaced, AND dressed like hookers because we had been to a Las Vegas themed party) someone stole my buddy's credit card. The thief had looked over her shoulder when she had entered her PIN, and then taken her wallet as soon as she had put it back in her purse.

Although she called and cancelled her card immediately when we noticed it was gone the fucking asshole who stole it had already taken out 15 000 SEK (roughly $2000). Fortunately she got all the money back like 2 months later because it was an obvious theft.
