and yeah, what do you think about this? maybe the future if jibbing? ghetto is getting kind of played out now, would be cool with some new style and attitude!, not saying that ghetto is gay.. just that that we would need somting new! but thats just my oppinion

Don't get me wrong he's a sick skier, better than me by a lot, but I don't really like tight pants. I never really liked them off the hill and that didn't change on the hill. I also don't like the feel of them on myself.

I don't care what you wear really as long you like it, but I personally prefer medium - baggy pants.

I'm also wondering whether tight pants are colder, warmer, or the same temp as baggy pants. They seem like they would be colder to me, but I've never actually skied in them so I have no way of knowing.
 
I'm not sure tight pants will be the future of skiing. I think that it MIGHT gain wider acceptance, but it will never be something that the majority of people are doing. I think the hate might die out, but it will never be a mainstream kind of thing. The reason i say this is because not everyone's style fits the tight pants style. In fact, very few people actually look good with that style. Honestly, as long as I keep skiing, I'll probably just wear clothing that's slightly too big for me but never massive or too tight.
 
long underwear is tight for a reason bro...it keeps you warmer! tight pants do the same! maybe? im not sure, ive never been all that cold in my pants though, its probably about the same.

True, true. I've never skied in tight pants so I couldn't compare. I just feel like baggier pants have more fabric and yeah I don't really have another point I just feel like my statement has more validity if I include an and, and then add another point to what I'm saying. Once again, I could be completely wrong.

And how's the range of motion? Better, worse, pretty much the same?
 
i dont like tight pants, but dont get me wrong he is good but that fall when he went for the hand drag at the end was so funny
 
they dont have more fabric they are the same thickness and only create more air for radiation and conduction for loss of heat. i dont really think you would be able to tell the difference from tight pants to baggy pants. the only think i could think of is if the pants are just shells and the outside blows onto your bare skin it would feel cold and that would happen more in tight pants.
 
personally i thint thight pants is a lot warmer, cant explain why.. it just feels that way, haha, that is regular jeans.. baggy pants feels a lot colder cause there is so much air in them! thit pants keeps all of the air inside.. just like a warm thight hoodie or somting.. cant explain it better, but think it would be the same with ski pants?
 
i dont wear tight pants, but sometimes i forget my snowpants and have to wear the jeans i wore out the night before...

I used to like tight pants and rocked them all last year but now I think they're mad homo cause all these trend whores are like OMGZZ tight pants are SOOO cool! I'm probably gonna keep wearing mine or wtv because I don't buy new suits every winter to keep up with the trends... But honestly kids, don't follow the majority for no reason, its stupid

i dont think they are the new big thing but they are catching on and i dont mind them, as long as the person wearing then can rep them. but i see more and more kids wering them
 
I don't like wearing super tight pants, but I wear straight jeans and stuff that are fairly tight, and when i skate I don't think it's weird, but it's really hard to have good style with tight pants. When your pants are tight in skiing it makes every little movement of your legs obvious and it's a lot harder to make tricks look good. That video was tight, but with baggy pants it probably would have looked even steezier, I dunno, just my opinion I guess.
 
Hehehe, I just realized that you spelt tight "thight" in the title. No hate (I make typos all the time) I just think it's kinda funny.
 
thats cause skinsutst are made with mad holes all over them so if the skier falls they dont slide forever, if they had no holes thed be like he warmest shit ever... i would be llike a wetsuit but warmer

That was the first time where i didn't really mind seeing the tight pants look. I still am not a big fan of it though.

tight pants are warmer for the first little while because of the fabric being close to your skin, but as time goes on you warm up the air in the pants, and lose heat because of the lack of air circulation.

There's one skier at my hill who wears purple tight pants, first thought is "wow wtf" but if you watch him he's fuckin amazing, one of top 3 skiers most well known at my hill and wins competitions like nothing.. Because of him i've come to the conclusion that for me to wear tight pants I have to be as good as him (which wont happen)
 
dress in what you are comfortable in...personally I rep tightish pants cause that's they style I like... I wear tight pants cause they fit my style, I personally don't like baggy shit cause I feel like a goon in it, and I don't really listen to that much rap mostly hardcore and thrash which isn't really a pro baggy scene
