Thesis statement

Im doing a thesis paper in y high school english class and i need some ideas on what i should do for y thesis and where i whould get the inforation

ya, knowing what the paper is about might help...

Basically, find a few points you're going to discuss in the paper, and make a thesis statement introducing them briefly, and what they are going to prove as a whole (IE the whole idea behind your paper).

hhaha yea we can't help you with a thesis statement unless we know what ur topic is and what you want to prove about it.

Mental health should be more than the absence of mental illness.

Thats what I did my last paper on. Hope I was helpfull.

do a thesis on why scat porn is so prevalent in Japan, cause I want to know why the fuck anyone would want to watch that, and how people grow to find it appealing.

do it about something in politics (if your down with taht stuff) i know nothing about politics so i cant help you out. Umm or do it about essays. Like your statment

"when teens learn plenty of english writing techniques through out highschool, there is no need for them to display there skills in an essay format" when you right a paper about what its regarding, its visible as unique. it works for me.

all you have to do is make an arguable statment about a topic you are familiar with and argue your point

Here is a skiing example (assuming you know something about our sport)

Tanner Hall is over rated. Because.... (i'm not saying he is, it would just be an easy topic to argue)

OR

The war in Iraq is helping to improve the state of the world. (Not saying it is either, just a topic with a lot of points on both sides)

dont use because in it tho. Make your statement, and have (preferably) 3 justifications that are provable. Like dont use an argument if you cant find VALID INFORMATION to back up what you're saying.

Example: (from my present research paper)

Due to their origin, expectations, and role in society, Japanese Geisha are the most respected artists of the Japanese world.

Now, in this statement, I ordered it a bit differently and the statement i'm making is actually last and my arguments are first.

i would do something predicting where the world is heading based on opinion and backed up by historical evidence, might be difficult but kinda interesting

do a thesis statement on how this paper you have to write is lame and that you shuoldnt have to do it, and argue as to why and support your reasons.

use the sam topic that i did last time, the difference between twined and untwined skis, i got richous marks for that one because my teach had never read one like that befor, or if you old enought o drink and therefor onld enought to legaly know, write one on the difference between light and dark beer
