...but I really truly am stuck. I know that there are many "Right ski size for me?" threads, and I have gained some info from them, but I need to ask the question:

I am 5'6" (you can probably round it up to 5'7", haha) 135 lbs., high intermediate/advanced skier. I ski in MA, so mostly park and when I can the rest of the mountain. I would like to get a fat ski that is stable off big booters, so I figured the Armada ARV would suit me perfectly. I buy my skis, so I don't want to buy a ski that I will end up growing out of. Now, should I get the 165 ARV somewhere, or should I man up and get the 175 ARV for real cheap locally? Again, thanks for all the help!

Also, I am a junior in high school and I hope to go to college in either New Hampshire/Vermont so I would be able to use them up there as well.

well, for bc skis, the arv's are kinda narrow

so they should be fine for new england pow

i have scratch's for my 'pow' ski

they're 84 at the waist

though volkl karma's are 87, and are stiff enough to rip up the whole mountain

i used to live in mass. so i was wondering

do you really need a terrain park pass to get into the park at wachusett?

ARVs are fine jib skis. and they are very soft. the extra length wont be a problem with the sitffness. now, the weight is gonna slow the skis response down, specially for your size. but should still be fun.

Alrite, I think you guys have cemented my decision! I know there are tons of these but I thank you guys who responded for helping me in a useful manner!
