mother fucking suck. they don't close (at least on ff). and they obscure the page.

we all understand that ns has to stay solvent. but this detracts from the site to a far greater degree than anything else ive seen on here. way worse than "i'm feeling a little salty."

please fix this @now.
 
I was just about to make a thread on this. Even as I was reading your thread one popped up and I couldn't read what you had written. Even as I'm typing this now I can barely see what I'm writing so theres probably mad spelling errors.
If NS doesn't wanna get rid of this at least make an option to close them! It's taking away from the site altogether!
 
about 80 or 90 percent of the pages I load have this add on them and none of them will close. I can't even see half of what i'm typing because of it right now
 
i was about to make this thread also. fuck them. i can't even see what i'm typing right now cuz it's in the way.
 
yeah i came to this forum to make this thread. half the threads ive openend today i cant even read the OP. and like someone said i cant see half of this screen that im typing in right now

im down with ads, NS is a kickass site, but ads like this are just too much
 
Newschoolers, BIshop, Shmuck, and the rest of the squad, I love you all and I only want this site to flourish. But there comes a time when enough is enough.

With that being said Ad Blocker Plus for Firefox is your best friend on the interwebz
 
Its funny I have still yet to see this ad, so don't fully understand how bad it is. If it infact has no way of closing it then thats pretty uncool. We didn't design the ad. We'll see what we can do though.

As you can see, parts of the first 2 sentences in posts cannot be read. Same goes for creating a post, I had to hit enter a few times so I could see what I was typing.
 
I'll get this ad blocked immediately.
If anyone can, please when you see the ad right click and copy the URL that it links to. That makes it super easy to find.

this add took over my i-phone last night. i was browsing with safari and not INS and it popped up almost full screen.
