Some random thoughts

Here I sit in front of my computer at work

It's my last day at Kidd Valley

The drool slowly drips out my mouth as I type this

My breath is bad and theres still crust in my eyes from this morning

Lunch was busy but now there's no customers.

God I hate this place

I've worked for this company for five years

Since I was sixteen

My position now is Assistant manager

I make 11.08 per hour

When I started I made 7.50

I realized this fall that I was trapped

The sooner I quit the better

Did I want to do Kidd Valley as a career?

What the fuck was I thinking?

I want a career in the ski industry

I don't care if no one will ski in twenty years because of global warming or the economy crashing

I'll still be skiing

I'll be that creepy hermit living in a mountain shack in north alaska

The kids in a nearby village will have rumors of and abominable snowman living in the mountain

That snowman will be me

So here I sit finishing up my time in this hell hole

A kickass weekend at whistler planned out for tomorrow

And I start my new job at a ski shop next week

I have so much to learn and do

I'm so excited for it

This ski season will be the best in my life

The one I will never forget

I look forward to skiing with all you guys

I wouldnt call that a poem...that was more of a....MASTERPIECE. "An ode to fucking kid valley in the ass for skiing."
 
congrats!!! the sooner you quit the better, well said. it was the same way at baskin robbins for me :p now i get $10.90 an hour to do my homework.......... stupid fucking homework
 
the 05-06 season yes, it was a really fun season, was it shitty for you?

and it should be known to all that working in a ski shop is actually really gay, although, I am grateful for the knowledge that I acquired working there.
 
ah well, at sturtevant's and kidd valley I made about $11 an hour when I left, down here during peak season (like right now) I make on average 20-25 dollars an hour, plus I ski all summer :)
