These are Overated:

god i hate this fool more than anyone!!!

IZOD INDY CAR SERIES FTWWWWWW THIS SHIT NEEDS TO GET MAIN STREAM.

there is a difference in the south and the deep south and the true south

its not just about secession either. there is a noticeable difference in those states, except maybe TN and maybe NC.

Virginia and kentucky, Arkansas, Missouri are not southern states, not even close to being legitimate.

If you think the civil war was all about slavery, then you should prob stop talking now. Lincoln only freed the slaves in the southern states as a military move, while the north still have slaves. The war was more about money and tariffs than slavery. Secession is more about states rights, states retaining power, and a limited federal government, than it is about slavery.

please stop being so ignorant, you live in ohio. this is the only thing i think of when i hear about ohio.

which also may be underated, it was always a good sick day tv show

fuck yeah dude, hopefully ryan hunter reay gets a ride for the rest of the year.

a few things need to happen first before it gets mainstream. by 2016-2020 it could overtake nascar.

The war was over popular sovereignty in the South and in the territories, largely over matters of slavery, but also tariffs and other minor stuff like that. It goes back to the nullification crisis.

Honestly I just didn't like Francis very much and assumed it was going downhill from there, which you have confirmed. De-Loused was one of my favorite albums ever, don't get me wrong, its amazing, but I think they lost it after that. IDK what you are talking about with the general public not having heard of them though??? They are massively popular and everyone I know has heard of them. These days even At the Drive In get a lot of attention.
I actually have heard of Hilltop Hoods, but I'll check out all that other stuff.
Lyrical Commission are DOPE you gotta check this shit out. I first heard about them because a remix of this track appears on Celph Titled's The Gatalog, but I quickly got pretty much everything they had released (which at the time was just a 6 song EP and some bootlegs), and they are really fucking good.

there isn't any really. there used to be a small ski resort that closed down. cool place actually.

Other than that, i ski around little hills when it snows. people freaked the fuck out and had no idea why I had skis in the middle of atlanta.

most of the people I talk to haven't heard of them.

As for francis, I would listen to bedlam in goliath. I can see how you dont like francis the mute. Too much spanish, random sounds and other stuff. Bedlam is more straight forward and is one of the greatest drumming albums I've ever heard. At the drive in is sick too.

Ill def check those guys out now.

I have experienced extreme racism in the south

I have witnessed a lot of obese people in the south much more than i see in NY

I have experienced the tourist trap

I have seen a lot rusty cars on cinder blocks

I haven't experienced anything good about the south

I have seen a lot of stereotypical bigots in the south A FUCKING LOT of racist people

apart from the obese people, I've witnessed all of those in the north to a greater degree than in the south.

Honestly, I dont know how youve seen so many racist people in the south. I fucking live here, and I hardly ever see racist people or hear people say racist things. If I do, its just old people. Waving the confederate battle flag, while it makes you pretty much a redneck, it does not mean your racist.

Yeah basically. If for example, I saw someone waving a confederate flag, I would assume they were racist, and I would probably be right like 90% of the time. But thats because I live in California where there really is no reason to fly a confederate flag unless you are racist. Its basically racists in the rest of America giving it a bad name.
There is actually a band called Roddy Radiation and the Skabilly Rebels, a sideproject of The Specials, and their logo is a confederate flag in the colors of the jamaican flag.

I honestly don't know much about the Civil War, I have a very limited knowledge of it so I won't even go down that path. All of my prejudices towards the South come from my personal experiences with people from the South and all of the things I've learnt from my parents and educators.

I know Ohio sucks, it is one of my least favorite states. It's horrible and there's nothing to do and no skiing, plus where I live has a bunch of douchebags. I'm not actually an Ohioan, I was born in California and lived there for 5 years before I moved here.

The stones have some pretty fucking good albums.

Music today in general is overated. Celibacy is overated. Fucking donleys is over rated. that's all i got

I disagree with a lot of things on that list, taco bell is most certainly not overrated. the x games are awesome, jay z is a very good rapper, weed is fun, firefox is great, nike dunks are comfortable and cool looking, winter is the best season, skiing park is really fun, chinese food tastes really fucking good, rajon rondo is very good and also gets recognized for being very good=not underrated,

I've been to the South, at least to TN. I've also been to KY and NC, not sure if those count, but I had a blast...wonderful people, great food. I did see a lot of fat people, but that is pretty much stock for every western country in the world. Never once experienced an instance of racism in the South, and for those of you who claim to have, I really don't believe it. Southern folk, like the rest of American folk, are decent people who get a terrible name from the few aberrant bigots who happen to make up an extremely low percentage of the population.

although i agree with just about everything you said i am a little shocked that you said weed is overrated and jay-z why don't you go pick up an 8th and a copy of reasonable doubt and rethink those two

I couldn't agree more. He's from my home city and I am embarrassed he is our most successful rapper. I personally know kids who could rhyme circles around him.

Europe is most definitely not overrated. Have you even been there? Cause in my experience I would say it was underrated. Other than that and the North I agree that everything else on your list is overrated.

In my school right now there isn't one black person. We have a kid who's dad is from Egypt, he is Islamic. There are 2 black kids in my entire district (k-12) out of 1,000 students. My town was known as the KKK capital of the Hudson valley for many years. When i drove down to Florida two years back i saw a lot of evidence of racism in the Virginias, Carolinas, and parts of Georgia.

I just feel like there are a ton of rappers i'd rather listen to over jay-z yet he is still way more successful and popular. to me that's overrated. as for weed, yeah it's fun, but not that fun.

evidence? like what? some rednecks with bass fish overlaid on confederate flags?

I find it hard to believe that all these people in their short visits to the south see tons of racism, while I live here and hardly ever see anything...note...I live in Atlanta, not a rural area. If you are racist here, you wont last long. So maybe that's why I dont see much, but I've been in other areas around enough besides that.

Europe and the north aren't overrated. they're rated high, but for a good reason.

the south is definitely underrated.

the rest of the list is on point
