THERMITE WTC 9/11

you have to realize the article at the top of this post was not written by me. I am just the messenger spreading the information. Also no disrespect to people who died that day. I think it is 100x more disrespectful to not demand another investigation into the events of that days. the 9/11 ommision report is a really shitty excuse at invesigating 9/11.
 
Lincoln took credit for freeing ALL of the slaves when he in fact allowed border states to keep slaves to persuade them to be on the north's side. The only reason he abolished slavery was to alienate the south, not for moral reasons. Pretty honest dude eh. I guess Regan wasn't either but the point was not to trust presidents/government
 
in response to saying it was the bush administration who planned this, i dont understand how you could say that. all of the people saying this think that bush is the biggest idiot in the world and made tons of mistakes, so how would he be able to pull off one of the biggest and most detailed and ridiculous attacks like this.

seriously just tell me how you think he can go from being a complete dumbass with everything to being the one who planned all this. it boggles my mind how people can flip flop so much on something like that.

take a chemistry class once in your life before you try and say that manufactured aluminum and "rusty metal support beams" could combine to make a complicated substance like thermite. Also when you start talking about TIG welding look back at that chemistry class you never took and think. Jet fuel burns at about 287.5 °C while the treated steel used in the WTC melts at 1370 °C, so your fancy little welding example is just dead wrong

your big word part, if you have even used an SEM you would know what it can do. Being able to see exactly what was in the sample allows you to know what it is. therefor seeing thermite means there was thermite

Even more pathetic is your next attempt to dispel a big word. If you had actually read the article on wikipedia you might have noticed what differential scanning calorimetry does.

Now you start talking about surface area, i won't even start. Take any chem, bio or physics class and you will learn how important surface area is, especially in combustion.

Finally you wrap up with "using big words does NOT make you right" and trash a PhD by telling him to go back to highschool. You should probably finish third grade before you accuse PhD's of being ill informed and figure out that big words dont make you right, but actually knowing what your saying and quoting things you dont read just make you look fucking stupid. Also i kinda wish you had written a thesis in your life because maybe you would realize what they actually are.

Aside from this idiot, i think that this video just furthers that fact that the official report is bullshit and there needs to be a real investigation of the 911 attacks. People say its hard to believe a government would do this but when you look at the amount of money and power the military industrial complex has and the economic impacts of war, you will see that alot of people make alot of money at others expense. This is not something new.

 
i would just like to add that the flight that crashed in pa that conspiracy people say was fake WAS NOT FAKE.. i have friends and family members that saw the plane fly over the town i live in at roughly 2000 feet or less.
 
to start with he has admitted that he moved from Kentucky to Indiana partially because of how much slavery there was in Kentucky.

Also (and im sorry this is so vague im trying to find it online cuz i dont have the book anymore) as a teenager he had some experience on a boat where he witnessed slavery and thought it was horrific. Unfortunately i dont have the book anymore, but it discussed a bunch of other instances where he had said slavery was wrong. He also indicated that he really moderated his stance starting when he was running against Douglas, because he knew if he was too radically against it he had no chance of being elected.

i was going to make that point. if this is all a giant conspiracy, how do you explain the crashed plane? that was headed for the white house, where W. was. why would they have an attack on the pentagon, where many of the people that "plotted" this plan would work. why would you attack your own workplace. How do you know the terrorists didnt place the thremite? you dont. these theories are disrespectful to people that had loved ones die especially because there are so many holes. in conclusion this is all complete BULLSHIT, started by PhDs who obviously need attention. you guys are morons for believing this shit, you realize that right?
 
^^ you guys, i have no problem with healthy debate. But do your research, watch a "conspiracy theory" video like Loose Change, and read the "official" report. Know what you know before getting into dumb arguments around bush. The fact of the matter is that the whole situation, the Pentagon, WTC and the other plane don't make sense. What has been fed to us is scientifically improbable if not impossible. There is another explanation. I agree that bush didn't do it, no one can do something like this by their self, but there are people more powerful that bush who really dont give a shit and could pull something off like this.

ya they really do add up. on september 11, 2001 4 planes were hijacked by terrorists. two hit the WTC, one hit the pentagon and one was crashed. 3000 people die.Bin Laden claimed the attack. What the hell doesnt add up? btw dont post conspiracy videos ive seen them all

and about being moved. if you knew there was an attack on your workplace/school and you knew about it, would you leave your friends.no, unless you were a selfish bitch, which our leading generals are not. if they were moved nobody would be at the pentagon that day. its really that simple.
 
I am only in high school so I hardly think I am qualified to go into a heated chemistry debate.
I will however express the fact that thermite is easy to make, I have done it.We mixed the aluminum and rust (iron oxide) and ignited it with a magnesium strip taken from our chemistry class.While it wasn't strong or powerful, it was enough to burn an extremely tiny hole through a piece of old scrap metal.
My point is that it is viable that thermite could have been just a byproduct of the crash.
 
I don't know if I'm repeating this but doesn't someone realize that the building of the World trade centres would require a lot of welding, therefore the present of thermite would make sense if it's used for welding...
 
as far as i know thermite isnt used for welding though. i mean, im no expert or professional welder but my dad owns MIG, TIG, ARC, and OxyCetelene(sp?) setups and i know how to use them and im PRETTY sure thermite isnt used in that.

Ok I just want to put down some of my thoughts.

This is irrefutable truth that what we have been told was a lie. The government holds strongly that the towers fell due to the planes crashing the the jet fuel melting the steel structure. This has been proven FALSE.

Now I refuse to jump to lame conclusions that the president had some diabolical plan to blow up a building in his own country. But this whole new development bring some questions to mind.

Why was the government so adamant on how the towers fell? They completely refuted every conspiracy idea with just their word and said trust us. Why would the government lie to us like that? They couldn't even admit it was a possibility that the towers were demolished, why would they openly lie like that unless they knew something. The government didn't even say that the terrorists planted the explosives. It seems kind of fishy that they weren't even open to the possibility.

With this new proof the government should be forced to do a reinvestigation. If anything they should want to know what exactly happened rather than going on a hunch.
 
What I have yet to hear is a decent argument politically as to who would be behind this.

There is no doubt in my mind there was an agenda for neo-cons with Iraq, Afghanistan, etc. There has been since after the Russian expulsion from Afghanistan. What seems to be left out in these theories are the direct or loosely associated parties who could have pulled off such an extravagant ordeal. Don't even think of saying the CIA had something to do with it. Donny Rums and Paul Wolfowitz were both political and ideological enemies of the director of the CIA (Geroge Tenet). If there's anyone who knows anything about the Middle East and geo-politics it's this guy. You think for a second that he wouldn't sell out Rumsfield first chance he got? He would in an instant. So let's say in some bizarre world the head of the CIA didn't catch wind of the plan by people in this country to blow up the towers...okay that brings me to my next character.

Colin Powell would give his two front teeth to give Donald the boot out of his job. Again, you don't think that one of the most open ears in the country would catch wind of such an event?

Although it wasn't called Al Qaeda until 1999, Bin Laden had been sufficiently out of contact with any sort of United States representative. In fact, the last significant meeting known to us was relayed from Mullah Omar when he met with Prince Turki of Saudi Arabia in Kandahar. This was just after the US had planned to raid Bin Ladens ranch just outside of Kandahar but the mission was deemed to dangerous and the Afghan informants we hired bailed on us. From 1999-2001 we basically looked at Bin Laden through a spyglass halfway around the world. Direct information was given to us of planned attacks, and this is where I cannot explain what was said or what actions were taken behind the scene. Very select few can and nobody on NS has that kind of information readily available to them so don't even try.

However, truth always surfaces. If this conspiracy is true, someone will come forward and prove everyone wrong. It always works that way.

easy, there was a whole quarter of the base gone after the buildings came down. they dont show you that in the conspiracy videos for obvious reasons. they called everyone out of 7 due to impending collapse from the damage. oh surprise, they were right. its not rocket science. didnt need a whole lot of explaining in the official report. even a youtube probing jackass can figure that out.
 
no one ever said that it was actually bush himself who planned this out. there is no way that moron could have done this. however, to think that there are not people more powerful than the president in this country is completely ignorant. the president does not make every decision concerning the u.s. for all we know, he may not make any. he could just be an icon for people to believe that this country is truly what it is said to be, im not saying this is true, because i dont want to believe it, but in all reality we know little to nothing about what the government does. the only transparency in our government is what they want to be seen, you can say whatever you want about the government not having the rights to do that, but they dont give a fuck. because they dont care what they do as long as the people think that they are what they say they are, and they get their way. i think it is stupid to believe what the government tells you just because they are the government so therefore there is no way they would lie to us. take area 51 (not keystones terrain park) for example, they crash a top secret plane, and tell us it was a ufo. not the best example but illustrates my point.

im in no way educated enough to argue the science behind the attacks, but i know that i believe there is something not right in the official explanation. and if you cant see the obvious gaps and at least have a twinge of doubt, then i really dont know what to say to you but, OPEN YOUR EYES.

i never said "no damage." I'm just not buying that the building fell as rapidly as it did because of that damage on the lower levels. it fell straight down just like the other ones. but anyways i don't care to argue much because I obviously know less about this than you

then why did the building fall straight down at maximum velocity exactly like a demolution building instead of falling to one side like any other building missing a quarter of its base/

Uhg, head hurts from all the stupid opinions. There are a few good posts in here, but the majority.... good lord.

Let me say this: I dont believe the government "planned 9/11" or anything to that extent, but as far as internal investigations and actual analysis of what happened that day, conclusions remain scant. I would love to see a full investigation of these claims for once, because they do have a certain amount of legitimacy about them.
 
Thermite is often used for welding in remote locations, such as joining railroad peices together. A blend of thermite made by using copper is also used to weld electric cables.

Regarding the initial artical, it describes thermite as "Highly Explosive". This is a poor choice of words to describe the thermite reaction. First, it requires high heat to initiate the thermite reaction. You can hold a torch to a pile of it and it will not start to react. Second, there is nothing 'explosive' in the nature of thermite. Thermite is simply a highly exothermic redox reaction. Detonation velocities are never acheived and the reaction is a far cry from the rates acheived by explosives such as TNT or even fertalizer and diesel.
While this does not matter that much scientifically, it is arguable that the choice of words "Highly Explosive" was simply a scare tactice to make thermite sound worse than it is.

first of all, its fucking 25 pages. i should not of been able to read that entire article in 20 minutes and understand it fully. they took a bunch of dust, put it under a couple different types of instruments, and wrote a fucking little high school book report about it. jesus. pictures and graphs and big words do not make things true, as people stated above.
moreover, its OBVIOUSLY a loaded article when in the fucking introduction they say shit like:

sounds like the intro to a fucking 10th grade history report. that study was not done by a bunch of scientists who are intrigued by what happened. its a bunch of kinda smart dudes with a fucking agenda trying to get attention
