Haha, this is funny because all boarders do are stupid presses and end up falling of the side and it looks so bad. Spinning is soooooooooo much harder than pressing its ridiculous.

And yea, the average skier in the park hititng features is soooo much better than the average boarder. I can't believe how much they hate on the edit, its not like when someone posts a good snowboard edit ns hates on it.
 
ha thats funny. magoon went from hesh to fresh in one sesh. in the same two years he also went from those mediocre skills to winning at least 50 gs in rail comps in his breakout year. maybe switchin steeze helps. it helped for joe sexton too:

Haha well i don't know about you guys but all my local ski areas are starting to be predominately newschoolers. I don't really get into the hate thing cause skiings to fun to worry about what other fuckers think but i bet they feel really fucking dumb when skiing IS the mainstream and they start looking to us for inspiration. Be it in two years or ten, can't deny it, snowboardings on the downhill in more ways than one.

Granted a truespin 180 blindsoul pretzel 180 out sounds hard but I would imagine if they had the same amount of hype as pretzels more kids could do them. How is 270ing on 270ing off tapdancing?

Doing different grinds and doing new stuff is really cool, but when you start insulting what the "norm" tricks are it makes you look like a giant douche. You act really smug about being able to do unique tricks.

I bet andy parry would laugh at you.

ya, i know this was one of the first posts, and i know that this point has been made about 1000 times on NS, but that's exactly who these kids are for the most part. snowboarding is so full of followers these days who talk made shit but cant even boardslide a ride-on flat box with consistency...it's sooooo fucking irritating.

to this day, i think 99% of the hate i hear on the hill is from guys like this. good boarders respect skill and courage no matter who it is (as long as we're not talking about bladers), so theyre not to blame.

 
damn those where some angry kids. i dont get what the deal is, i thought this whole snowboard vs. ski battle was over. those kids where hating on other people just because they claimed to have known some skiers. some people.
 
Man posting hateful things in their forum is the worst thing we can do in my opinion.

I respect the hell out of snowboarders and ride with them a lot. They gave skiing what it needed by showing us what could be done on snow. I hope no one takes any action other than to go in there and respect their right to have an opinion about skiing. There were a lot of people in that thread standing up for us, why not focus on that and build a better situation rather than get pissed about the negative comments. I watch snowboard flics and have tons of respect for them.

The fact that there are snowboarders stoked on us is great. We should be excited and not get pissed about the haters. Let the select few hate, they always will, focus on the ones who speak their mind no matter what the masses say, they will be the ones who promote and fuel change.

Overal message, be the bigger person and let the good comments effect you not the bad!

 
This post defines the difference between the average skiers and snowboarders in so many ways. But snowboarders do gay shit on their runs through the park too so it's ok I guess.

The average skier is better because they 270 pretzel or 450 out of every feature in the park in five skier train? Ability and difficulty do not equate to spinning a lot and THAT IS THAT.

SKIER: This edit is probably one of the sickest skiing edits this year. The guys riding were having fun (isn't that why you guys snowboard?) they were joking about being thug and just afterbanging hard on all the landings. Jon Brogan is one the steeziest guys out there. Tom Wallisch is so fucking tech on rails you'll head will explode. Hornbeck slaughters handrails like no other, and Adam Delorme is just fucking tech on everything ex: switch butter to hand drag. Come on guys stop the fucking hate with skiers Technine ACTS more thug then any skier ever so shut the *** up about them trying to act gangsta

every skier posting is like "SERIUSLY GUYZ SKIING IS KOOL SNOBOARDING IS L@ME!!!!!! STOP THE HATE!" then they think to themselves like (yeah take that!). horrible.

and some kid was arguing how skiing was getting tech on rails way before snowboarding, which just shows that they haven't been in the game very long at all.

plus, those guys are all gapers anyways. its a BURTON forum. dudes think theyre core because they bought a season pass. wack shit. but just don't post anymore, please. its making all of us look stupid.
 
They think this video is some sort of major production promo movie or whatever, when in reality, it was 4 guys, 2 days, just skiing park probably cuz there was no pow. and they were just having fun, not trying to impress people. The edit was a joke. 

I think we should find a snoboard video that conveyed the same thing for our rebuttal
