Same goes for "Skis."

"Skiing" has two because of the 'ing' sufix.

Just wanted to point that out.

On an unrelated topic, there is no e in 'ridiculous'.
 
In the November 2004 issue of Freeskier, the opening spread to the Women of Freeskiing feature read "Women of Freesking". We probably copy-edited that shit five times, and still no one caught it until it had been printed.
 
It's just like designing websites...You could be looking at the site for 2 weeks and still miss the smallest typo, until someone who has never seen the site comes along and finds 5.
 
skiis and biikes does it for there own thiing. were not the owners so ii dunno why they would do iit, iim assumiing the miiss spelling attracts people to the name liike "oh shiit iits spelt wrong!, lets go check the store out" or somethiing liike that.
 
nobody cares that you know how to spell, or that people dont spell "skier" correctly.

you saved us, i would never have known what someone was talking about if they spelled it "skiier" or some other ungodly way....THANKYOU SO MUCH!
