For graduation, my Dad said he would get me and ski/binding set-up that I wanted. I'll be living in SLC, so i want something fat, but my question to you guys is what would you choose.......

Keep in mind 4FRNT, Armada, Prophets, Ninthward....Seth Vis......there are so many choices.

Better to burn out...

...then fade away.

if your gonna be doin mostly pow stuff get some maidens mounted at like +3 or +4

all around look at msp viscious big trouble first blood arv

park look at thebutters stls sr5s mickd

what kind of riding your gonna be doin would help a lot

I'm 5'7 and 140 lbs. I owuld be riding almost 50% pretty tech BC, and 50% mid level park.

ok, 175 or 181 Priors. Still, go with the Priors man. They are so damn expensive or I'd have a pair. If your dad will buy them for you, this is your golden opportunity!!

don't listen to justin. on the madens or pistols/vicious never mount any farther back than +5. even if you only ski straight.

but most people do not realize the advantages of goin a longer ski and mounting center!

if your doin mostly tech bc stuff and a little park

get 189 vicious centermounted or 179 at like 2 back from center!

msps are sick but i would think you would want something fatter!

SURFACE 184 centermounted on hardpack they are center and the way the shovel is designed it throws you to 4 back from center when you hit snow deeper than 4 inches!

^ mine are bent to fit 100 waist

a friend of mine had bent his to fit maidens!

they arent that functional but they do hold your skis together and SLOW them down on hardpack just hope somebody cares and goes to stop them for you

if you only have one pair, go with an all mountain fat like ARV, MSP, Scratch BC(stiff this year I heard), Big Trouble, Gotama, Sugar Daddy(absolutely sick this year ive seen it it looks so dope), Gun, Vicious pretty much everything around 95mm waist. IF you step it up the scale into the over 105 waist, go with a Made'n AK, Sumo, Jp vs Julien, ANT pro, ...

Talk to your dad and see if you can talk him into this deal...

You don't go all out and buy super expensive skis this year but find a pair for a good price like the Line motherships and then he agrees to buy a pair this season and a pair next.

If you are going to ski a lot this year living in slc then you're going to wear skis out.

 
Or Armada poles? Anthony B doesn't get less money because of that...

well since you say go long and centremount, what should i do since im 6'4 and 220lb?

they dont make skis that long.

anything over 185 should be good for you! especially in slc you shouled be skiing a shitload of pow n such and park just whenever everything is shitty!

Line prophets! those kill anywhere. the 130's look the coolest because there so fat everywhere. the 80's are way too skinny.
