The Zune, destroyer of the iPod

Which will show that you need to make something similar, but less expensive as many have been saying. That is basically the key to bringing it down.

I don't believe the Zune will be able to take down the iPod because the iPod has become so mainstream, many people dont even take the time to compare other options because they think iPod's are the ultimate mp3 player, although they arent.

But if some company can come out with an MP3 player that has similar features to the iPod, better compatibility between Windows and Mac, and is cheaper, that will be the downfall of the iPod.
 
A friend of mine's dad was on the Programing team to make the O.S. He has had a zune for about 4 months now, and it is fucking dope. We always use it and mess around with it. The program that you use to download/import tracks is a seperate program called Zune. It's not wmp. Atleast the one he has isn't.
 
has anyone even noticed that zune is proabably one of the lack lusterest names ever? I know its new and will take time for people to add it to their modern lexicon like iPod, but i mean come on, zune?
 
I think that Zune looks pretty neat. I probably won't be buying one anytime soon just because I have a working iPod with plenty of space left, iPods seem to work well, and I don't need a big colorful screen because I don't watch videos or look at pictures on my iPod.
 
This def. wont be the IPOD killer, but it is the best alternative that we have seen yet. The problem with the OTHER mp3 players that have come out is that some of them had crap battery, others had bad screen, others were slow, others had bad memory, others had bad interface, others had bad size. This is the best alternative because the screen is great, the battery is great, the memory is great, it has a fine size, I am not sure about the interface or the speed since I haven't used it, but it looks cool.
