I was 6 and I was probably playing with bionicles and knights kingdom legos while watching lord of the rings and star wars. probably rocking some LL Bean turtle necks and zip off shorts/pants. I would be in first grade and our class caterpillar is probably about ready to hatch from the chrysalis and be a beautiful butterfly.
 
Ah yes I remember 2002. Having seen the first iPod I knew what Steve was up to. I walked to my local etrade location to invest my entire inheritance in the iPod and Apple. Now I have a gulfstream 5 and spend much of my time with Polynesian women. Thank you.
 
6th grade, bumping to some smash mouth, linkin park, and P.O.D. got my first pair of SOAP shoes . !!!! those things were da shit. id be grinding all day long in them SOAP shoes with the grindplates under them etc. those were sick haha wonder if they still make them. they were all the rage when i was in middle school.

any one else remember having SOAP shoes ??

I was 12. 6th grade so I was feelin up my girlfriend for the first time. also getting OTPHJ's. I didnt think it could get any better.
 
Going into the city every weekend and getting fucked up.

Driving around listening to rap music smoking a dutch with a backwards yankee hat on.

Somehow managed to make my way thru college at the same time.

I was 10. Just beginning my lengthy awkward/chubby stage, building forts with my friends and playing Zelda and the Ocarina of time on my 64.
 
I was in 9th grade and at this time of the year was most likely hiking with some friends getting stoned.

Or listening to punk/ska and brooding. Lots of brooding.
 
I was 8, learning to ride dirtbikes and racing them with my dad, learning to skateboard and jump bicycles. Grade 2 was an uneventful year in school but my teacher has since passed away (RIP Mrs. Helmus).
 
I was in 4th grade riding my bicycle that looked like a crotchrocket. I had the funnest times on that thing.

I turned 14 in 2002! Woo hoo! I learned how to drive a stick in my uncle's Mustang GT that summer and he taught me how to do burnouts. Pretty cool. Um...not sure what else I really did that year. It would have been my freshman year of high school, so I played a lot of guitar in my friend's garage and jumped on his trampoline pretty much every afternoon, skateboarded, and rode a lot of BMX.
 
Working in a skate shop...using friendster... snowboarding... having sex to the smooth sounds of At the Drive-In.

Rev up and drop the clutch or use the e-brake. Pretty easy especially in a Mustang. Or find some dirt to start on
 
I was probably on NS at the school library since hotmail was banned. Probably trying to watch videos that took 5 minutes to load and then realizing I didn't have the right quicktime update and not knowing how to post on forums.

Possibly too afraid to talk to some girls in my class and listening to some punk CD on my discman pretending to think I was cool.

This thread has made me feel really really old.
 
I had just started high school that year.

I was listening to Green Day, skateboarding, just got my first pair of twin-tips (k2 Enemy)

Besides that i was a nerd.

I was 6 so my life consisted of watching Rocket Power all day, eating happy meals, and tearing shit up on my NEXT "mountain bike". And begging my dad to buy me a dirt bike which I got 1 or 2 years later.
