The XBOX expeiance

Haven't downloaded the update yet but i have heard some good things, what is the actual changes?

For some reason when I was playing Halo sunday night they told me i was banned until thursday hella randomly.
So i have no idea what it is yet, but I'm pumped to play it tomorrow.
but idk why they would ban me haha
 
thanksdoesnt really seem THAT new or amazing really. idk, maybe im missing some of the stuff, but all i really see thats new is that you can make avatars and rent movies
 
well im currently watching apocalypto streaming through my xbox from netflix so i've come to the conclusion this is the fucking sweetest thing ever

Microsoft is installing a new update

to all 360’s connected to live, on November 19th.



The coolest part I thought about it

other than the better looking opening screen is the “install-to-drive” part.

This allows you to dump all of a games content into the hard drive and play the

game from there. You still have to have the disk in the xbox to verify you have

the game, but this doesn’t mean the disk will be constantly spinning while in

there. It doesn’t run the disk at all, making the system virtually silent, and

it makes loading time much faster.

wow this is pretty sick actuallyyou know what im super NOT pumped about thoughi hate it when people come to your house and your playing xbox and they always want to set up a gamer account if they don't have one and it takes like 10 minutes and its really annoying... well now with the new avatars its gonna take like 2 hours cause everyone NEEDS to make one. i have a wii too and that was always the most annoying thing about it. oh well tho, other than that this new update's pretty sick
 
dude, that's like i got this update for Vista a few weeks ago, and now i don't even need to put the discs in my drive to play all my Microsoft games, i just click on them and they start playing, whereas before, if i forgot to put the disc in, it would tell me i had to put it in to play. it's so convenient for when i'm in the mood to tear shit up!
 
Personally, I think the 3-D avatars are gay.

BUT! This is an amazing update. In addition to all the great features people have already said I hear that the have reworks the friends system. Im not sure about anything spicific (im downloading it right now) but I've been told that they are making it so that you can go into private chat with more than just 1 other person. Which is great, because I hate it when I'm playing match making and I have to listen/mute all the other players in the party.
 
hey so i am an x box 360 noob, and i wanted to know how 2 get live. like can you connect wirelessly. and like how do u pay and shit. just like a quick simple little thing would aide me. or message me
 
i got live around may last year, and played it SO much then in september when school started i stopped 100% and havnt played untill last night, when i randomly decided to try live again and i got this message about the new expeirience... it said it was comming out tomorow (which is now today) so i was like whatever no big deal just a little download... and now i download it and my entire exbox is totally different!!!! and quite frankly i dont want to be a negative nancy or anything but i dislike it!!! i miss the old interface. i guess im pissed but psyced too because new things are always cool... sort of
 
its almost exactly the same as WII...my avatar is a black chick. lol.
other than that gayness i like it. to bad they chomped mad style from WII though...
 
The experience is the shit. My avatar is a baller. Could use more clothing options. Awesome improvement though. Love how you can have a party and you can still play what ever you want

 
haha i just updated it, not too used to it, but i made my avatar a super tall skinny person with white skin, red eyes, light blond hair, and the shark tooth mouth, he's so creepy
 
the real bonus for people like me is the bigger list of resolutions to display. new widescreen formats are supported like 1440x900 and 1680x1050. more screenage = better looking.
 
Uh, not sure if you're serious or not but whatever...
To go wireless you need an adapter, and that shit costs 100 bucks where i live. You can go to a game store and buy a card with like 1, 3, 6, or 12 months on it, or you can make a subscription on xbox.com or through the xbox screen.

new avatars remind me of wii hell of. they are kinda gay, but they said they are coming out with more clothes and shit soon so everyone doesnt look hella dumb, hopefully some g shit. but i like the menus and stuff, pretty legit
 
absolutelly dude, I just got done watching a movie on there also. So easy to use, so fast, so fucking awesome.
 
SO sick... ha i like it a lot but as i was fukkin around with it i was thinkin it would be way rad if they had like a web browser you could download to it! that would be wicked awesome. browse the web on your tv.
