now i dont know about you guys, but eventhough its just a "big hit" comp, i do feel as though the skiers arent going to be straight airing out of the pipe... i dont know about you, but i would imagine it would be scarier boosting a 20 ft air out of the pipe and not setting for a trick. It gives you something to think about while your 20 ft above a concrete solid deck. just my 2 cents.
 
Im saying the mayority of people INCLUDING skiiers dont know and say things like that. I think the superman front flip was pimp and isnt following the dub cork trend. Right now its like dub cork or die, I liked the difference. So my point is this guy probably couldnt go hit the booter and try both and tell us which is harder.

why do people hate on the x-games big air?it was judged by text messaging. this is analogous to having the grammys judged by how many twitter fans a band has.
why do people hate on simon dumont?he never does new tricks.
why didnt they show the jon olsson on chads footy?he fell.

ok, well my friend was instructing last year at N* while the dew tour was there

she had a 4 year old kid on the chairlift learning to ski, also on the chair is simon dumont and some guy with him, she went to put the bar down for the kid and simon stopped her and said she couldn't put it down because the guy was wearing a back pack. She had to hold the little girl on the lift just because simon dint want to wait for this guy to take the backpack off and put it on his lap

he seemed like a complete arrogant twat to be fair and i do not respect him for stopping a little kid from being slightly safer
 
This wasn't directed towards people such as yourself. You have a reason to dislike him, so good on you. However most people just say shit so their karma doesn't get lowered.
 
and they're doing a big hit for SNOWBOARDERS too where there is even more popularity, so obviously the marketing is not based around simon.
 
Let me be the first then. Simon is a really nice guy. He's genuine, and doesn't have pretensions about greatness that most of the kids on here have. Having chatted to him for a bit at London Freeze, he is not at all a douche. He is an amazing skier, who realises that he still has stuff to work on. Most of the kids on NS slide a box for the first time and think they're God's fucking gift to skiing.

It is almost certainly you and your friends who are pricks. You know, the kind that get a kick out of picking on the smaller kids? And are you so mindlessly stupid that you take anything your friends say as gospel?

So if you don't want to watch the X-Games, here's another game you can play. You and your friends each find an oven, and put your heads inside. The one who stays in the longest wins.

Whhhooo fuckin cares, he KNEW what the crowd liked to win, they like ooooohs and ahhhhsss tricks, thats what a double front is, he was jus being smart in picking the tricks that he would win with.
