I got run over by a car in september the worst pain of my life. I got road rash all over my back i had to go to the emergency room where they gave me a total of 14 morphin shots and had to use a brass brush to scrape all the cement out of my back. They also had to use a scalpel to dig out a rock in my lower back and elbow if anyone can beat this pain then damn thats good

I had appendicitis at 9, The doctors were a little late, the appendix ruptured during the removal. I stayed in intensive for 3 days and in the recovering room for 4 days. It hurt all the time, I would not walk for 4 days and in the room beside me there was a crying baby that never stoped.

That was aweful Im glad that I will never get it again.

the worst thing that has happened to me is falling on my arm and "bending" it. It hurt worse than a break for some reason. I really didnt understand any of the things the doctor said about it...so i guess its not that bad though

getting run over sounds like it sucks, better look both ways next time, worst for me dislocated Knee twice

I fell on the ice (I was playing with some friends) and landed on my face and broke my nose, got a concussion and messed up some teeth, plus I had to sew several stitches on my forehead..the rest of my face pretty much looked beat up. oh yeah, I looked like a real treat

i was playing football / rugby with some friends and someone picked me up, lifted me over his head and dropped me on my head. i was knocked out and had a concussion for 3 days.

5 compression fractures in my back - T5, 6, 7 9 and 10 (names of the vertebre i broke). luckily they were posterior breaks and broke away from my spinal cord.

on the subject of backs. Landed a 10m cliff backflip onto a something solid concealed in the powder. so... i got a burst frfacture to L3 vertebra- looked like gravel in the x-ray. The docs stabilised it with 9 inch rods that held my back straight for 8 months. ALSO, in the same crash, i'd ruptured my gluteal artery and while the doctors were wondering how to operate on the back i was bleeeding to death. filled up like a balloon before they clocked the real problem. critical for a week before they could even look at the back and then a month longer in hos. had an operation on christmas too. happy days.

now rippin just as hard but no longer going upside down.

lesson: a back protector saved my life and me from paralysis. really look before you leap. doctors and people who support you are heroes.

my dad says: only the dumb die young

but i reckon theres some luck in there too that can work both ways.

wow holy crap. that puts me to shame. back injuries suck major balls. i was lucky enough not to have surgury only a brace and bed rest for like 3 months.

all injuries suck, especially during the season. doesn't really matter how big they are if you come back from them in the end both mentally and physically. lastly, morphine is mad shit and catheters are really really uncomfortable. i'd rather piss myself

getting eye surgery and was blind for 3 days, and in 2 weeks I was seeing ok, In 6 weeks I was fine and this was in June 2005

fractured my skull while skateboarding, was fucking around on a 7stair handrail and my head was the first thing to come in contact with the concrete, and that was my 4th concussion. no bueno

broke my collarbone, my lung ripped away from my esophogas (sp?) and got a severe concussion at wrestling practice one time. i was in the hospital for 5 days, but they didnt believe me when i told them my collarbone was broke until the 2nd day. that sort of sucked.

gah, i almost gagged hearing how they had to scrape the cement out of your back. respect for making it through that, man. luckily for me, the worst i've had is a sprained knee, i've fooled total carnage way to many times, i'm bound to be destroyed sometime soon.

you guys have gotten pretty fucked up.. i broke some arms and shit but not as bad a s some of this .

yeah mind is pretty tame, flying chest/face/shoulder first into dirt fracturing the top of my humerus in the shoulder joint and had my bike fly through the air and hit me on the back of the head. I couldn't breathe for a really long time, same thing happened again except it was chest first into a tree and I couldn't breathe and then my chest was too sore to laugh for like a week. good ole mtn biking.

i was biking under an overpass and m pinkie finger got caufgr in the fence while i was going around 40 k/h, nearly ripped the bitch outtal by hand, broke some bones tore some ligaments, im fine now though

i had 3 fingers cut off and re-attached.

I was like 6 months old and my bro was trying to cut some tape, well he cut my middle, ring, and pinky fingers by mistake. they were hanging by some stuff(skin and whatever) went to the hospital got em back on, had to learn to crawl in a circle cause the cast was too heavy to lift...the broken back story beats that to shit though. thats crazy man

broke left forearm in three places, compound fracture, ripped off a tendion, and dislocated the wrist. then 2 months later when it didnt heal right they rebroke all three places, put 2 pins in and a plate

broken wrist thats it. i avoid the hospital at all costs. mostly because you have to wait in pain for like 6 hours before they help you.

One over-shoot on a 45ft table:

Broken tibia and fibula, torn ligament in my ankle, and concussion. (I was wearing a helmet too)

Thats flat icey east coast landings for ya. (not that I hit the landing so you can imagine how flat it was)

the little arm thing that goes over your standard trailer hitch went into my leg and tore it all apart. got stitches and my leg started dying. the whole thing turned balck. hand to go in and get all the dead tissue removed and have a skin graft and reconstructive surgery on my leg. they used a hot needle to burn all the dead tissue out and it smelled like shit and hurt lke fuck. and i couldn't walk for a week and had to keep it elevated. and don't even fucking talk about pain until you have a peritonsillar absess that has to be drained

Cut my knee to the bone in 5th grade, had to get 40 some stiches, Concussion, broken wrist. I think thats it, nothing too horible.

Cut my knee cap wide open... and this might not seem like much, but i jammed my thumb and it hurt as all hell, it swelled up literally twice its size

i had to get a PIC line for my tumor... its when they shoot a tube through you vein and into your heart... now that shit hurts
