Regarding the K2's,
I forgot what it's called that creates the electricity, but it works like a crystal Microphone. Now I ask, how much electricity can this micro-sized chunck of rock create when tweaked inside the ski, and how much electricity does it take to actually make a worthwhile difference? I'm guessing that you'd have to hual enough of this speacial mineral around to actually 'power' your skis that you'd need a backpack and then it wouldn't work anyway. Either that or a long extension cord! LOL
Anyway, all the gimmiky crap that's on skis is dumb. Most has roots in good ideas, but I've seen World Cup versions of some of this stuff and it's nothing like the spacy-looking crap you pay rediculous amounts for in your local sport shop.
Speaking of costs, why is it you can get a pair of skis on pro-form for like $175 and they're over $775 in the store? WTF?
