Anyone have any info on this? Is this going to start this next season?

If so, is it going to replace the normal x games competition?

This will be sick.

 
All I know is it takes place in May. There is definatley Mens and Womens superpipe and either big air or slope style. It will be going on at Whistler at the same time as the Summer X-Sports will be going down in San Antionio TX. IT should be pretty sick...the only problem is that the summer sports might take all coverage from the winter (cooler) sports, and I think they might only be on Pay-Per-View which will suck...the Gravity Games were like 35 bucks for 2 hours, so I cant imagine what the X games will be. But I could be wrong too.

It will be held in May...17-23 I think. Winter sports in Whistler and summer in San Diego. Its not replacing the X Games...its global. Basically bringing them together. They will take 2 athletes from each country to compete in every event. Athletes will get medals for each event but the big thing is that it is country against country.

Nah, it's going to be Tanner, because he's the Tigger Woods of Skiing, and like Boyd Easley or C.R. Johnson,not because i want him to but because he has the comp wins to go.

Jonny Mosley, i don't think he's much of a slopestlye kind of guy. He'll be one of the announcers for sure.

I think this is an amazing idea... it's the olympics with cooler sports and without FIS bullshit. Whoever made this idea reality should be given a medal

I didn't know there was only superpipe, so i'll change that. But theres 1 or 2 people from every country, i was naming americans though. Who do u thinks a good solid pipe skier from america?

I'm think Nick Mercon and Greg Tufflemier are the best american pipe skiers...Pep Fujas is awsome too.

I know for sure that the summer portion is in San Antonio and I think it is May 17-23. I know men and women superpipe and I either big air or slopestyle...one of the two, and they are in Whistler.

 
haha x-games do blow, the anowncers are soo dumb, go to... iannickb.com and watch the video of his x games run. he was talking about how the run wasn't good because he didn't grab his skis and shit, its pretty funny...

i would say maybe people like turpin and larose for canadia but dont forget about chrighton, woods and tufferlmire ?...then there is fuja, easly, hall...so yea...im kinda interested in who would be picked for us and canada
