The word "gay"

yeah about a week ago i decided to stop using that word, cause it makes people sound dumb. but youd be surprised how effective it is to describe something totally gay...
 
haha i stopped saying gay becuase i dont have a problem with gay people so now i say butch instead

hahahaha just kidding
 
It's such a stupid use of the word. I mean, for god sakes, it literally means "happy". It just doesn't make sense.
 
Sometimes I feel bad about it because I really have no problem with gay people. Its the same with saying stuff is retarded. I justify it by thinking that these words have a different meaning nowadays.
 
I almost never use the term 'gay', unless it is in the proper context.  I really hate it when people use it in a negative sense.

I also hate it when people say 'gyp(p?)ed' - as it is a racist term

 
Its not even like its used properly at all. Really that ski is gay? so it likes other skis that are the same sex? its rediculous.
 
It really is stupid. Thing is I say it all the time, it's just some habbit. Nobody acctually means homosexual when they say it but it's still stupid
 
its just the evolution of language...if we never changed it we would still greet each other with "top o' the morning"
 
its when the right ski falls in love with another right ski. or vice versa using left...it is a sad thing because it affects everyone around the couple, especially in performance.
 
im getting better, i try to only use it sarcastically. like call something thats not really that bad "GAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"
 
maybe gay people should get a new name for being gay, because nowadays when most people use the the word "gay" to describe something, they're not really describing the thing as homosexual
 
the problem behind it isn't just that your using the word gay. You use "straight" too but in a positive connotation. People use gay in a negative way, making being gay a bad thing, which isn't wrong if you're a religion afficionado, but for the majority of people who use it, they have no problem. Its a bad habbit
