One person? Read the article. They have grabbed over 240,000 pounds of coke this year alone and we still have three months left.

MY RESPONSE, since i own math to the fullest

yes its exactly 30,720,000 8-balls... which when you look at the overall population, 6,462,650,015, thats NOtHING in a year buddy. when i know people doing 8-balls a day, moving around lb's of that shit in hrs. and thats just 1 guy i know. sure i know like 6 others but not that big time.

doing the math, if we say roughly 1/3 of people are dealing with the stuff... thats 2,154,216,671 people that are have access to the stuff. now lets say they all are atleast holding on an 8-ball. doing the math # of 8-balls / # of people with an 8-ball in had = 1.426040398514769 % of people were caught this year. only 1.5% of people who are doing it were caught, man that seem a little small to me.

man dont the number really show how dumb you are.

and thats saying that only 1/3 of the population has an 8-ball, and do you know how many people are sitting on a KILO+ of the powder? how many people have thousands of lb's like the guy u said was the biggest bust. how long has he been supply people?

D-Loc where do you get your 1.5% number from? If the gov't doesn't know how many drugs are in the US then how do you get the 1.5% for all we know they may nab .5% or 20% or 60%. And Bitchassphatz made an excellent point. Just because something hasn't stopped yet doesn't mean we should stop the battle against it. Like Bitchassphatz said about caner, we haven't cured it yet, but should we stop the battle? No. And we have been fighting cancer far longer than we have been fighting the war on drugs.

i even made the numbers low stating that out of 1/3 of the population that each ONLY had an 8-ball. sure some of those people may have less or non, but how many of those people only have 8-balls? many of those people have kilo's stacked away. so they even out in the end.

If we took the money from fighting pot alone with could fix social sercurtiy and pay off our national in a relitively small amout of time. Funny how you say pot is so bad, but now studies are showing that pot is not bad, but the chemicals associated with burning the herbs are bad. If you get pure THC it is has proven to be quiet healthy. How many people die from cigs in a year?!?!? And there is not good or any healthly benefits from it. Think, MJ has helped cancer patients in so many ways but its illegal. But the thing that put them there is legal.

its working to blow 11 billion a year to stop a mear 240,000 lb, when all that coke doesnt even come close to adding up to 11 billion stopped. so sure we stop some but waste a significatn amount. now if the gov were to be spending 11 million and stopping 900,000 lb's then sure i say keep up the good work, cuz tis working.

Bitchass you don't see it. If the world was black and white we wouldn't have any problems. The world is grey, d-loc knows this. I will put it in simple terms. Take the war on drugs and assume its a business. We will call it business 'x'. Business 'x' needs capital to start up to cover the fixed costs (police, boarder partorl, etc) and the variable costs (adveristiments, D.A.R.E., etc). So you take the inital capital of say $100 million and subtract the Varaible costs and the Fixed costs and you will mostly exceed the intial capital. So now we are in debt and need to make our money back, so we bust drugs and bring in more money for the business. But we don't bring enough revenue to break even. We do this year after year and we will suffer massive loses. That is the current position of the war on drugs. We are not getting back what we are putting into it. Therefore the WOD is failing. Simple.
