Now, everyones saying that if your 18, you should be heard, and that you should go out and vote, even NS. But really, my opinion is, if you arent educated in the matter, or you dont care, why should you go vote? i think voting for someone whos beleifs you dont even know, is a lot more wasteful than not voting at all. It is my personal opinion that if you dont know what your talking about, you shouldnt be voting.

thats the whole point, get educated and get an opinion, then go vote

3-6, so shirts like vote or die, and magazine adds that say go vote, be heard... non of it says, Get an education, pick a candidate that you think best represents your own opinions, and then go vote accordingly...

-Ryan

Nobody likes doing research on candidates anyway, its better to pick the guy with the funny name. Like the guy with the name Micheal Jackson in the last election for California governor!

its stupid fucks like you that make elections soo easy to steal

the ads in powder and freeskier say vote the environment and tell you to find out who is the candidate in favor of the environment and vote for him

i agree with you, blindblinds. i really don't want most of my generation voting just because some fuck on mtv told them to. most kids on campus have no idea what each candidate's political platforms are, which is primarily what the candidates are hoping for anyway. yeah, it's important to vote, but make sure you know what you're voting for and why.

i agree with you, but this whole youth vote push has gotten many more kids active in politics and actually attempting to make an educated vote. the majority are still asswipes who vote for who their parents tell them to, though.
