The War on Kids With Drugs

So I recently saw a short documentary on how highschoolers were being targeted for drug busts. The documentary was mainly about a kid with Asperger's who was befriended by an undercover cop. This cop pressured him into buying drugs which later got him arrested and all that shitty stuff that happens when you get caught with a gram of weed. The cop went into this operation knowing the kid had autism and was relentless in his requests for drugs. The kid was all happy and shit that he finally made a friend and he wanted to do anything to keep his new friend happy. I personally think these type of busts are fucking stupid and the government is getting no where in the war on drugs. Opinions?

I don't do any drugs and I still think that they should be decriminalized with a significant fine as a punishment and if people can't pay it off then they should have to do community service. This would hopefully help the prison system out and not completely ruin people's lives in the long run. They should also be required to get help because anyone using hard drugs probably needs it. Legalize bud though
 
Yes the drug war is fucked up from all angles. Any politicians who have supported the drug war should get the boot. Idiot fucking citizens who herp derp at the polls shouldn't be able to vote.

The drug war is fucked, and there are no good arguments to keep us going down this road. Unfortunately we just keep things going because that's the way it's always been in our memory. Laws have nothing to do with reason. Somebody pushes through a bullshit law or 10 and we just let it ride because we're too dumb to change anything.

I feel like cops that pull this shit should be locked up with real criminals.

Also I feel all drugs should just be legalized and get it over with. Yah sure there are drugs I would never touch and that's my personal choice. Make the choice up to the people(also known as freedom of rights). I believe in regulation instead of prohibition. Prohibition/The war on drugs is just an excuse politicians use to increase their numbers/funding for more policing. Create more laws there are more to be broken therefore creates more cost and more work. I say fuck it and just legalize and regulate everything. If people are going to do a drug they will find a way regardless if it's legal or not. I think if people really took the time to see what they are doing and really think about it politicians should be the ones locked up as well as a lot of the police themselves. Which brings me to the point that I believe the Governments try to Create a False sense of freedom.

Also Think about all the people they have wrongfully arrested and have been in prison for years on just having marijuana on their person. You think those people aren't going to be upset if it's all the sudden legal to "toke up" or have marijuana on your person. No they are going to be pissed.

I agree with this but at the same time I think that schools should have classes that ACTUALLY teach about the drugs and what heroin and meth do to people or add it into the health classes.

That really is the essence of it, and unfortunately, within the civilized western world, it's a problem you'll find solely in America. Very interesting actually - it's completely observable and explainable, and you can pretty much pinpoint where it began and how it sort of became a function of the country's blind/false patriotism.

To the OP, what is wrong with some people? You have to be absolutely morally bankrupt as a person to even consider practising entrapment on a handicapped child to meet a quota. What a shitty human being, part of an even shittier institution

I took a health class this year in highschool and they really went into depth about drugs. the problem is that most kids think it is all just bull so they ignore it

Yeah my school only required us to take it in 7th grade and there is no advanced health or anything like that.

All they show is a baby being born and a few std's.
 
fuck the drug war man. its so easy to get them nowadays the cops should either give up and leave them alone or just start doing them, get the real criminals up on capitol hill, those are where the scummy motherfuckers are
 
What we need is a eugenics program. Round up all the undercover cops, dea agents, prosecuters, and people who support the war on drugs, bring them to a landfill, shoot them, and bury them in a landfill.

That way we eliminate a good portion of the population that has an iq of below 100, so the remaining people who hate the war on drugs will be of higher caliber.

Yeah the drug war, dont even get me started on why we throw the entire country in jail for doing what prople snd animals have done for millenia. Drugs are part of civilization. Always have been, always will be. Get used to it and stop jailing people for providing a service.

And yoski, just because youre inferior to many people who do drugs doesnt mean they should be punished to make you and your 85 iq happy, inferior boi
 
If you legalized or decriminalized drugs and diverted drug war money into REAL EDUCATION ON DRUGS in schools etc. the amount of drug use would go down as well as overdose deaths from things like heroin
 
theres a lot of kids who buy weed from hobos at my school. and the cops have been dressing up like homeless people to catch them
