"The War on Drugs" explained by writer Graham Hancock

idk if you're at all into philosophy but if you are you should read up on john stewart mill, i think you would like him.
 
He has the general idea, but he's projecting his beliefs on the government. I wouldn't focus so much on the government controlling the "key to your consciousness". The simple truth, in my amateur opinion, is that they make a lot of money off drug prohibition.
 
Finished the video. I disagree with him that the war on drugs hasn't worked. It has worked beautifully if I'm right about it being for the purpose of transferring wealth.
 
Triple post to clarify. Although I have some disagreements in the details, I'm fully on board with this guy as far as it being wrong for one human being to control another's actions when said actions don't include the initiation of the use of force.

Bumping this because I am writing an essay on why the War on Drugs has failed and what we can do to fix it. Any links or more info on the subject would be much appreciated.
