my i7-13700k still hits 100c immediately when I run the cinebench CPU test. Its fine in games, even very demanding games like cyberpunk. But I wish I could cool it better. Case only fits 240mm radiator
 
About to download need for speed most wanted on my pc. I haven’t played this game since like 2009 on the old family pc. That BMW m5 is MINE

Been playing a decent amount of BF1 now that I'm a dirty console peasant. Awesome game, little disappointed I didn't get to play it in it's prime.

Bf1 was the last decent battlefield imo. I heard they made bfV fun after a lot of updates but 2042 I uninstalled within a week. All they had to do to make a good game was make an updated bf3/4 and they dropped it so hard.

Bf4 was my jam. Was in the top 10 worldwide for little bird kills at one point. Wonder if I'm still somewhere on the list lol. Pretty sad how far that series fell off.
 
I'm curious though, anyone here ever played Need for Madness or any of the other Radical Games games?

I was a big Planetside 2 player for a long time and I stg the only reason why Planetside is still alive is because EA/DICE have been pumping out garbage for the last 5 years.
 
Also just found out that starfield is Xbox exclusive yesterday when I went to download. Wtf Microsoft. Spent all day watching streams getting stoked and went home to download it lmao.

May low key invest in a series s for Halo, sea of thieves, Forza, and starfield.

Starfield is gonna be ass on a console anyway, +1 for buying a PC, you can play any game.

Lmao nah. Honestly never going to pay a grand to 2 grand to game..... and then spend hundreds every few years upgrading parts and crap.....Then have to spend time optimizing for every game. Seems like every two years my buddies are having to upgrade graphics cards and shit just to keep up.

I have a lot of friends that are on PC and rave about it. I really simply don't care about the minor performance and graphics upgrade when you factor in cost and effort.

I can buy a PS5 and a series s for 600ish, so half the price of a PC?..... and just play every game I want to play and never have to think of it again.

Call me a filthy casual I guess

I used to be like that but now I just occasionally play indie games on my 6+ year old laptop. It’s a much better life imo.

I bought my computer in 2019 and its still very usable 4 years later with zero upgrades.

I haven't upgraded my computer in 5 years at all, or cleaned it lol, they definitely last a very long time

I bought the series x so I can play Starfield lol

I don't even have a desk for a computer
 
I folded and bought the new 2K. Still crazy how much of a scam the VC market is in that game, but the gameplay and grind is fun really into the new storyline

There's a pc port of Jet Set Radio. Jet Set Radio Future on the xbox is better IMO
 
Horizon forbidden west pc release announced for early 2024. Haven't been this excited for a game in years
 
Replaying Need for speed most wanted 05 has been the most fun I’ve had playing a game in a long time. Probably since need for speed most wanted 05 came out
 
DBZ Kakarot took a couple tries to get into, but I'm having fun. Real cool way to experience the story.

And they give you ratings for stages

I'm only like 20 hours in, have barely scratched the surface. I am playing coop with a friend, I have a feeling it wouldn't be nearly as fun solo. If you're on PC there is a wonderful mod called seamless coop that basically rectifies all the things wrong with the multiplayer system

I have it on PS5 so might be out of luck for the mods. I'll see if I have any homies to play with

I don't have much Warframe experience but I was under the impression there were ways to jump into the new story stuff right away, is that not the case?
