o yea, and is it the same setup every year?as in same size jumps and everything?and how many parks do they have, or is it just the golden peak terrain park

It is set up pretty much the same, some features change every year. They do have a small park too. I would suggest going to Breck, Vail's park isn't that great.

yeah that is the only big one, there is a mini park sorta underneath the gondola in lionshead but judging by your goals for this year you wont be spending too much time over there. It usually starts out, pipe, first three hits, quarter pipe, jib park, and then a lower section with more hits and rails that isn't always open. I'm not sure though what they are doing for this year. You might wanna check out Beaver Creek too, they improved there park a bunch last year.

when i went to vail their park wasn't even open yet and that was in december

vail is cool, there are some super sick local kids there on fridays that dont have school, young kids throwin down huge

just go to the golden peak park or whatever. its not that intimidating. three nice jumps with a couple different size hits on each. they had a sick flat down rail that was a lot of fun

 
IT IS sick U will not get bored, ihave skiedthere quiet abit. it is better than breck for 3 reasons

1. less wind

2. breckinfridge is nicknamed that for a reason

3.less crowded, less front rangers in cowboy hats

as far as actual skiing goes vail is 10 times better than breck, but breck owns hands down in the park department..... freeway is really never as windy as the rest of the mountain for some reason

yea i go out to vail every year there park is pretty sick usually the same setup and they usually get new rails each year for something a little different and also if u want to ski some good out of bounds shit go drop of into petes bowl and u dont really need to worry about hiking out and its sick skiing in places...also go west of bluesky theres sick skiing over there jsut dont to far out or ull have a LONG ASS all day hike out

^news flash: keystone isn't that dope either..... sure they have some dope rails, but their jumps and pipe suck + most of the rails have huge bomb holes at the end

I worked at vail the last two years the park is sick. they do change it up alittle bit through the year. the upper park was changed like 3 times make the takeoffs better and wider and just changeing the jump. in the lower park they like the jumps torwards the top open and make them alittle bit smaller for the public. It usually is two jumps they take down at the bottom. which is the big air jump for the us open. and the last jump during the honda sessions. which these jumps are way to big for the public people would be getting killed. Rumor has it from what I heard last winter there moving the upper park to the other side of upper Rudders which will give them alot more room for the pipe and jumps.

 
it would probably be ok for a few days. if the comp course is open it will be better. Breck and winter park are going to kick ass this year tho.
