i don't get it

everyone bashes emo then they say they like the used... what is this nonsense

i listen to some emo and i personaly think the used blows...

they certainly suck live and i knwo that for a fact (no i didn't want to see them they just toured with alexis and underoath)

The used is one of my favorite bands. There older self titled CD is just as good as the newest one. I love both of them.

they are so sick, I love their older album but the new one is decent. They are badass and have some really original good stufff, with some serious power.

I have been listening to them for a really long time now. They are one of my favorite bands, but it is true that they aren't always good live. I've been to shows where they were really good and others where I wanted to leave.

I definitely like the older stuff a lot better than the new.

 
any band can make a good cd, but it takes a very skilled band to make a good live show, take big d and the kids table, their cd's are good, but seeing live will blow you away. reggae, ska, and punk all have amazing live shows, i have never been to a hip hop/rap show so i cant say what they are like. and for further reference THE USED IS NOT PUNK!!!! for some reason people think they are.

Reggae, Ska and Punk all have shitty shows too. Your point was stupid.

The Used can be hit or miss. It depends on Bert's voice at that particular show. And for your information it would be much more difficult to put on a good show, playing the type of music that the Used play versus ska or reggae. The Used's songs are extremely demanding on his vocal chords.
