so i have been thinking, and ive made a thread like this before in a cult but id like to change it some and get some more responses...

So supposively the univers was created by "the big bang" and i just cant see that as true. matter cannot be created nor destroyed so what created the matter to create our universe?

also the universe is also "infinitely" big but like i cant see that as true either, it is just impossible to grasp maybe...but think of that it goes on forever just space forever...

idk just wanted to get some thoughts on all of this...

i have a similar trippy thoughts when im smacked. like, we view ourselves and our lives as so big to us, but in reality, we are such a miniscule part of everything. us to the world is small, us to the solar system is tiny, us to the milky way is miniscule, and us to the galaxy is atomic, let alone the fact that each galaxy is sooo compared to the rest of space. i use MenInBlack to ellaborate this point when they zoom out and the entire galaxy is just a marble to another single person/thing. we are a mere nothing in comparison to the eternity that is out there
 
you don't seem to even understand what your talking about

First of all the big bang theory says the universe is NOT infinite.
 
not to be a dick...but i dont want some smart ass answer, and truthfully id like to see you elaborate on that without referencing that from an internet site, i just wanted to hear some thoughts on it.

Hmm about the universe, well it is true that all the humans don't account for a lot of the total mass in the universe, yet since its the only thing we can see, it becomes our reality and takes up all the place in our minds, leaving all the billions of light-years of other stars and shit incredibly hard to grasp.
 
er, try simon sighn (sp), lee smolin, dont read the nutshell book def. pick up "a brief history of time", and then take all the physics classes you can enless you just want to ponder yet get no where.
