The truth about George Zimmerman

there is a video going viral on FB about this exact same thing, a bit condensed, i like the youtube one better because it had more detail, but its the same message

the media in america is so fucked, i hope this case and these videos open some eyes

You don't have to be an expert to understand common sense. Trayvon attacked Zimmerman, he legally could shoot him. But of course, that story isn't good enough for the media. Why cant there be an election again so we can funnel bullshit into that topic?

interesting clip, eheath. i like it. really makes you wonder about a lot of shit that goes on out there and all of the garbage that gets perpetuated all so that all the stupid people in the world can follow the established order.

agreed. americas media doesnt display the truth because they know theyd be fucked for telling the truth.

I really dont think they would be. I think the media just wants to create the most interesting/emotional story for dumb ass people (most people) to side with. Had they talked about zimmermans past and treyvons real past, things would be different.

I enjoyed this. I see that picture on Facebook with trayvon and his mom in a cartoon like "I was only walking mama" and it's by some stupid page that's all like "like for justice" and it pisses me off

Watched it nothing I didnt know already , and I still think Zimmerman should have gone to jail for at least 5 years.

im sorry but seriously? i dont give a shit if this kid was a drug addict. The initial move was made by a man, who got out of his car to follow a "suspicious" guy AGAINST the recommendation of police. I'm not so certain that anything else beyond that matters.

shit like this happens all the time but this case got way to much attention because the media knew they could exploit it and blow it way out of proportion. its ridiculous.

I understand he is not a raciest yes, I understand he was head of the neighborhood watch, I was aware that there was crime in the town he lived in because well he lived in FL good luck living in a town without it. The fact is that he indeed follow Martin, Zimmerman caused the whole thing to happen. The whole drug thoey that he was high on purple drink is bs because they only found weed in his system, which I have never heard of weed making anyone aggressive ever. If he was in fact on purple drink it would have been found because traces Codeine stay in the body 2-4 day but no reports of that being found.

Just picture you are walking home and the guy in the neighborhood that does nothing but watches people and creeps out people started to follow you( Yes I understand to friends and family Zimmerman was a great guy) you say stay away and he keeps following you. What would you do? I for one would have done what Martin did and defend my self.

I do say he went overboard on how he did it. But then again it is hard to say how scared of Zimmerman he was. It is hard to get the point of view of a dead guy.

Yes the media twisted the whole story around but the facts are still there that Zimmerman is the sole reason why this whole thing happened.

Fantastic video. Stefan was very well-spoken, sympathetic, and intelligent throughout the entire video. I'm glad he showed both sides of the story and then proved how Zimmerman should most definitely be innocent.

Did you watch the video....

The police didn't tell him to do anything, it was a dispatcher, who is required to say that for any situation (stated in video)

He's a neighborhood watch man, in a neighborhood that is notorious for robberies, its his duty to observe and report and then trayvon attacked him.

Open you fucking eyes, stop listening to the media.

Exactly. And heath's video was all bullshit and speculation. Oh he says nasty things about girls to his homies, how unusual... he was on a forum talking about lean, sounds like a first time user not some lean addict... and is a picture of him w/ his middle fingers up supposed to be incriminating? this whole thing has turned into us vs them on both sides. I don't think Zimmerman's an evil racist but I do think he lacks the judgement to carry a gun and should be punished

A gated community that is known for robberies, i would have moved to an un-gated one might have been safer for being a black teen.

no it was the truth the popular media hasnt said because people will get offended. its his job to have a gun and to protect his neighborhood. trayvon also claimed to have bad behavior for example: he attacked zimmerman and beat him up and if he didnt shoot him trayvon could be a future threat to the neighborhood.

Dont sweat it heath. Let these angry tools continue to be angry. Thats all they are. Angry fucking tools. Haha

So by your logic, any girl who gets raped deserves it. Because SHE made the first move by dressing like a slut. Because she's dressed like that, anything else beyond that doesn't matter.

Word, definitely can't say I know all the facts. What I'm really hung up on is how the police told him not to pursue Trayvon and he followed through. regardless of how official the warning was, he was away from Treyvon and could have avoided the situation by letting proper authorities handle it. who am i to judge though I wasn't there and nobody knows all the facts except zim-dog and trey-songs.

yea i to dont know a lot of the facts. he fought back at trayvon because the town gave him the authority to protect his neighborhood and he acted how he should have. so he really couldnt avoid it because of his duties. but honestly everyone should let this go especially if our totally awesome president had to make a remark about a daily occurrence,

dressing like a slut and getting raped is just a little different than being black and being followed.

Imagine if Trevon was a strong girl, how would that change the case? what if he was white? If any of that would come into effect in any way, than you have to imagine that there was at least some questionable decisions made by Zimmerman as far as profiling.

Stop trying to start bullshit, he was attacked and he defended himself. Its completely legal to shoot someone if they are attacking you.

not trying to start bullshit, just trying to give my opinion on a case where a lot of people have opinions...

If it was late and as a minority myself, I was being followed at first in a car, and then as a man who gets outside of his car to follow me, I would certainly not take too kindly to it. The jury was 5 white women and 1 Hispanic woman.

Thats all I've come here to post really. In my opinion he stepped out of the bounds of where neighborhood watch should go and IN MY OPINION a 19 year old is dead because of it.

The world isnt the same for whites as it is for blacks, if you think racism is dead you are wrong.

Im going to stop posting in this thread, not trying to push any buttons which I have clearly done.

I lol'd during that podcast at 11:38:

"Three young men came into buy blunts; which are y'know, small cheap cigars that you can hollow out and put marijuana in." *Nervous laugh and pull of his collar* "Or, heh, so I've heard."

You are right that racism in America is by no means dead. The drug war is the most obvious example of that. However, this video is showing that the media painted the race picture.

I dont really like how he presented the video. Its like in school when someone does a powerpoint and reads exactly what they wrote word for word.

That is personal feeling though. It is not illegal to watch somebody on a public street. It is illegal to start a fight and punch somebody in the face. It is not illegal to use self defense when necessary. Did you watch the dang ol video mane?

this guy does a good job of keeping it out of religion for being a pastor, but i think he explains it extremely well though (sorry if it was mentioned i didn't see the vid posted)

Yeah I did , and there was no new info in either video that i was not aware of. I don't trust the media and I did my own research on this matter. This whole thing could have been avoided if Zimmerman just backed off and don't follow Martin. He was told not to follow and he still did. It is 100% zimmermans fault that this happened and he is guilty.

No dude, the whole thing wouldn't have happened if Martin would have just told Zimmerman what he was doing in the first place.

When Zimmerman asked him what he was up to he could have easily responded "on my way home from the store, not doing anything wrong, etc" like most normal, non-aggressive people would have.

He instead chose to respond with aggression and violence.

If I was following someone then they started to attack me I would be in the wrong for doing because I caused that to happen.
