The Truth About Bern Helmets.....

Hey guys.

I am the Marketing Director for bern and I just want to set a few things straight.

Bern makes three types of helmet constructions. Yes one is the two stage foam with Brock that is not certified, and is sold as a hard hat. The other is the same models like the Baker and macon except made in a two peice EPS foam liner, with is fully ASTM 2040 and CPSC for bike, which is a tougher stnadard than most snow. The third is Zipmold, the first new helmet technology in the last 15 years. Thinner, lighter, storinger than inmold.

It is your choice to wear whatever you want, and at whatever level of protection you would like. I personally rock the two stage cause I am really not that into helmets (hahah belive it or not), and I like the traditional skate feel.

we know you guys are not robots, so we give you the option as consumers to where what ever you like and want, and at what level of protection, pretty simple, it is called being a consumer, just like a Prius would not protect you in a crash as well as a SUV.

Feel free to hit us up with any questions connect@bernunlimited.com

We just looked at head protection and made what we wanted to wear, the majority of my pros rock two stage, but some also like the zip and EPS. One thing for certain, you won't look like you are on star trek rocking out gear--------

big shout out to Jordan Spohr who set the season off well with a sick finish this past weekend in Tahoe, f#ck yeah Jordan! Kid is the future........

Thanks for ending that arguement. Most company's wont do this becuase of what steve said above me. You probably just gained a lot of peoples respect

Good to hear it from someone LEGIT.

And very nice analogy with the prius vs. SUV

Support Bern, dont trash.

we are down for you guys, you are dirving it all, don't forget that. F#ck corporate companies, support the indie brands whose employees won't return your voice mails cause they are out shredding. :)

I bought a bern out of one fo the first shipments to FOTM last year and I must say, it's lightweight. I opted for the zipmold just because it seemed the best option, hell it was only $10 then the non zipmold and way lighter.

Anyways, it's great to have people involved in companies come on and speak out when they are attacked.

Prius is to two-stage helmet construction (light weight benefits, non-certified / good gas mileage not good accident protection) what SUV is to zipmold/two-piece foam(more protection, different feel and build to the helmet / bad gas mileage, better protection).

That isn't that hard to figure out.

Thanks for coming with the info from the source.
