The Train Gap

oh yeeeaaaa, nick and KC, battle it out!!!! YEEE!! both you guys throw down like real soul brohans in tahoe, knowing where to progress is out of the park, in dope areas such as donner and reno.

my point is I know where theres a 80-100 foot natural gap in the donner area that no ones hit, so when theres potential like that I think most people are like . eh trains gap beens done mainge. And im sure theres plenty of spots people have found in that area that is sick and origional.

I want to see that shit, its about time skiing got another infamous and dangerous gap. Grizzly Gulch is played.

those gaps are soo not played out they have only been in 2 ski movies, Chads has been in soo many more...No one has done anything that tech over the traingap exeptfor skogen flat spin 3... ther eis way more room for progression, Imagine a cab cork 5 over that shit !

HA! ya , I cant even begin to think of the last time I DIDNT guinea pig something. Well see next year, rock paper scissors.

Let's just say it's east of Cisco Grove, but west of Donner Summit. I was just thinking about that train jump the other day. It's still one of the sickest things I've seen, only because there was no way to speed check it. The in-run was a trough dug into the snow, but not wide enough so you could throw the skis sideways, so no one knew how fast to hit it. The landing was boilerplate and the runout was all huge suncups. Everyone was debating and it didn't seem like it was a go. Then we heard the train coming and Rodd Adams stepped up and said he was going to hit it. He sidestepped up to what he thought was right and when the engines came he dropped and threw a big old lincoln, stomping it perfectly in the sweet spot.

I'd say it wasn't as big as the one Raps, Anderson and Jamie hit in Chapter 3, but it wasn't into 3 feet of pow either.

no theres an in run, and its about a 3-4 hour hike unless you have a sled. I dont think anyone has ever hit it that I know of. you can be second to hit if ,if you want nick.
