The time I accidentally trolled Bobby Brown

I met Bobby Brown once at a ski store grand opening near where I live. I may have accidentally offended him somehow. It was two years ago, and it didn't occur to me that what I said could have been misconstrued as me trying to make fun of him until like a week ago as I reflected on the exchange. I'll just post what was said.

Me: "Hey, how's it going?"

Bobby: "Good, how are you?"

Me: "Great. Just wanted to let you know that your triple was absolutely sick."

Bobby: "Thanks, I appreciate it."

I was pretty enthusiastic because I was pumped to be meeting him. He sounded a little sick of meeting stupid kids like me, but he wasn't too cold towards me.

Bobby: "So what's your name?" (He was signing posters)

Me: "Evan."

Silence follows as he starts to write on poster. I try to make me standing there while he signs an autograph less awkward. I try to think of a funny joke.

Me: "So are you working on the quad yet?"

*slight pause while he looks at me like I'm a fucking idiot*

Bobby: "No"

At this point he finishes signing the poster and hands it to me.

Me: "Thanks"

Bobby: "Yup"

I look at my poster. He wrote "Kevin" instead of "Evan."

Don't worry too much....I met PK just before X games big air in January 2013...I said I couldn't believe he's pro because I'm so much better than him....then he came last....I still feel bad.
 
I also gave Bobby Brown a small koala at X games when I met him down near the athletes' access road. But he probably doesn't remember that.
 
i met russ henshaw at perisher this year, he said nice jacket (i have his pro model jacket) i said hi and asked for a photo felt like such a gaper
 
I stole C.R.'s seat at a MSP movie premiere and started signing autographs. He didn't look too pleased when he returned.
 
met will wesson at ruby hill and then me and my friend talked to him about an essay we were writing and he gave us some helpful tips!
 
I told Sal Masakala to sign my balls in front of a bunch of 10 year olds. He gave me a very bad look...

Black people tend to not like me.
 
Halldor bought my friends and I a bottle of patron when in copper. His coach, Thunder, passed out on our condo floor for 27 hours.

At COC I had a monstrous bleeding nose and tom wallisch came up and asked if I was ok, I said ya and then he said good keep bleeding it out then kept hiking, I'm basically famous now
 
Won a contest, gotta ski with Jossi Wells the entire day. Pretty groovy but I was such a gaper back then so yeah looking back I'm kind of embarrassed at the shit I said.
 
Shit man! I remember watching that video, I was so jealous because Jossi is one of my favorite skiers hahaha
 
When I was young I didn't understand who Wallisch's ski sponsor was because I didn't think Scott made skis. Looked pretty dumb when I posted on his Facebook wall asking him and tons of kids posted that he rides for Scott and I was all like "Scott doesn't make skis" and then Tom comes in like "yah they do" and then I just looked like a real dumbass. The good ol days.
