THE TIME HAS COME

Why does everyone hate on Empire?? I don't understand. Sure they're prices are high, but I'm sure they'll realize that isn't a good idea and they will fix it. I think it's great that some of the biggest names in skiing have come together to make a company by skier for skiers. Plus, some of their stuff is actually pretty cool (except the shirts). So stop hating
 
^First of all, they are 35 bucks, and skiing is one of the richest sports there is so don't complain. Why do you think resorts charge so much for food?
 
there are more logos on those gloves than i can count. dont they understand freeskiing is about creativity and style, all they did was put empire all over a plain black glove.....wow. ill keep my money and represent myself
 
not to hate but empires stuff looks sorta cheeply made.

id only buy a shirt (not for their redicilious price) or a bandana

I like them but I'm buying some Disciple Gloves instead. I got a $10 and Free Shipping coupon from them and their stuff looks real nice. This is the sheath glove (It's a pipe glove like this empire one) It looks like much better quality

those are alright... but i def thought that they would have released either the ones that were being worn at the xgames or those white ones that simon has been seen with. those would have been a little better
 
I hate Empire's logo...

as well as the name.. its so unoriginal... every other extreme sport has a small company named "empire" making random shit... (for example.. look at Paintball, and street luge)
 
maybe one of the dumbest comments I have heard in a while. They charge that much for food because they can. People don't want to leave the hill to go get food, especially tourists. Therefore they can charge what they want because the demand will be there.

like it says 1st released glove so theyll prolly release the better models in the coming season. Secondly, whats up with the feature names? Spandura? Bemberg? Clarino? Never heard of these and prolly a brand name technology but it doesnt explain itself very good...expect the better gloves to cost madd buck
 
i was gunna say the same thing..

i for one am not a huge fan of empire so far but $35 isnt too bad actually for a park/pipe glove.. Props to Empire for making a cheaper decent park glove..
 
damn cant any of you come up with something we havent heard before. Why hate, if you dont like it dont buy them or dont support them. Everyone knows there are a bunch of companies out there with the name, we all know that most of you think it is costly. We all know that you think the logo is Gay. Get over it, stop posting the same shit. It is getting boring. Let people be stoked on empire.
 
i ordered mine earlier, so stoked, stop all the hate on empire, it's a new company, if you dont like it keep it to yourself personaly i'm gonna customize my gloves
 
Just posting what I wrote in the "empire gloves" thread:

Don't quote me on this, I am just guessing...but, given the time of year dont you think it is appropriate to have a "spring" type glove as opposed to the thicker one seen on the athletes all winter long? I would assume that the gloves Simon, Jossi, Peter, and Colby were seen flashin all over the place this winter will be for sale before next winter.

Just be patient, it's Spring time, they look legit as hell for Spring skiing.
 
i really hope they dont actually plan on selling those....for how much hype simon put into this, hes releasing unbelievably shitty product
 
there is absolutely no diffrerence between a pair of empire gloves and another pair of gloves, if anything a different pair of gloves would be wayy better
