That's all i have to say. Best movie ever, awesome editing, the segments had amaxing flow into one another,and the skiing was amazing. Marc-Andre is still probably the best skier out there. Sage is right up there too, and wow, Chris Collins, wow, he had such an amazimg segment. Best movie I've seen in a long time.
 
its an awsome movie...sick pow shots...india seg was awsome...but not enough park shots...Pete Olenick and Dash Long's were sick but not enough for me...thats wut u get for buying TGR but if ur lookin for backcountry shit Tangerine Dream is the movie to buy
 
I didn't see Tangerine Dream but I just watched War and Hitlist for the first time and I have to say I was disappointed in War! I usually like Poor Boyz stuff the best but I didn't think it was that good this year. The segments were to short,I actually really enjoyed The Hit List the segments were good length, music was good and I like skiers comentary.
 
I am sorry. This movie was disgracefully bad. Horrible. A substantial step backward for TGR. I'm never giving them my money again.
 
thats ok...we all do if we see too much of anything. I like a well balanced mix.
 
tangerine dream was sick/sweet/rad/dope/awesome. it came to colby on friday and it was sick. sage's segment was greaat and pyramid gap was preposterous
 
jermey jones is insane, marc andre is crazy at switch pow, it was pretty good but wayyy too long like most tgr movies
 
i didnt really enjoy that movie. i love to ski pow, its not very exciting to watch. the movie was way too long and boring. i didnt like the athlete commentary, or the music.

i really liked war this year, it had a really good mix of urban, park/pipe and powder. ok music and no gay athlete commentary. plus it comes with up1.2, wich is amazing

shanghai six was an awesome movie. it was mostly park/urban and backcountry booters. one thing i didnt like was seeing the same hits throughout the movie. but it had good editing and great flow. i liked the ways the athletes names were introduced. and i love the music!

but none of these movies compare to 1242. my fav. movies of this year are s6 and war
 
TGR isnt made for jibbers. Thats why you dont see any urban shit.

They do big stuff that you wont find in your concrete playground...wise up. you want jibbing, go buy war.

Real mountains, real skiers. No joke.

PLus dana flahr kills all.
 
good skiing? i'm all for pow turns and cliff drops, but watching a bunch of hacked segments with washed up skiers missing their grabs in mongolia just doesnt do it for me.
 
and its too bad because guys like sage and dana are obviously world class skiers, but i could barely stand to watch them in this movie.
 
TGR movies aren't supposed to have a ton of park. It's big mountain, which so many of you east coast kids don't appreciate.
 
It was surprisingly good for a tgr. the segments that were good were really good and the ones that werent were really bad. The one thing that excited me most was my hometown had ender. it was homo ski basing but it was tight seeing all these places i go everyday. juneau isnt really too much of the heli alaska scene so i was excited. and the crazy guy in the credits thats talking about buzzing is this vagabond type guy that is always around town who everyone knows. which was the best part for people from juneau

i never said i didnt like it. i thought it was pretty good. base skiing takes incredible balls and skill but it just gets boring and predictable is all. i believe that thats everyones opinion when it comes to base skiing.

yea im one to love big mountain and all, and shit i will ski it whenever i get the damn opportunity, but it was such a damn boring movie, and i have a long attention span. hit list sucked too

these movies are just the same old slapped together fotaged slowed down, with a lot of shitty commentary nowadays

but tangerine dream was certainly better than hit list, ill give it that
 
most of it wasnt base skiing, it was base jumping, which is sick, too. both of them are sick, its just that when you have a 20 minute long segment of it, like in Yearbook, you get fuckin sick of it... only a coupla sick shot cannot hurt!
