The talent pool in summit county

No.

I didn't know that they know each other. It looked at though he was hating on the park.

And no.

Yes, I live in FL. In fact there are like ten people on NS who are from FL.

she lived in colorado most of the winter, she had to go back cause her mom had cancer. doesn't change the fact that she's talking too much about stuff she's not fully aware of.

That may have been a bit harsh what I said, but I do mean most of it, I would like to see skiers killing BC as well, because it's a whole new thing.

and RUSS is a G, and I cannot say I was not impressed by all four sw ups, yadadamean?

haha, word.

I'm just ready for you to get out there and start throwing 5 different doubles on a bc jump, because you would do that you bobby brown you!

Id have to agree, at least for the east coast, I mean ive personally never rode in Canada but just judging from all the stuff im seeing from the vids everywhere im sure there is plenty more to come.

I think everyone wants to get spnsored so they can actually have an excuse to drop your social life, drop your school life, and everything else, and that people will actually understand when you say your "Skiin"

At leas that is my thinkin

you have the exact same thoughts as me. i used to be somewhat of a park rat and this past season i got really into bc stuff and i have so much respect for the guys that throw down out of the park.

It has continued to amaze me how many good skiers come out of summit county it is unbelievable. I just started riding keystone this year and i just about shit my pants when i saw how everyone rolled. I think that seeing all of this sick skiing is just inspiration for others to do the same therefor the pool of steezin jibbas is further deepened. My first day at keystone and first run in a51 i saw front flips, double lincolns, switch 1080 kangs, and dumonts double front 720 or whatever that is even though he is sponsered, 450's onto rails and 270s off, or 270 on and 360 switch up over the kink. The list goes on. No were else in the world will there ever be as much talent. When you grow up in colorado skiing becomes parrt of your life not just something your family does once a year, skiing just is a part of your budget. Thats also why the atmosphere is so chill out here everyone one respects everyone because we all know that everyone is out here to have fun not to prove to the world that he or she has more gorilla steeze than the other and should get a fucking oakley sponsorship. Everyone out here is as good as they want to be, let me tell you financially if everyone in summit county had the money to compete in all of the opens and go to summer camps and work on their shred everyday we would all be as good as the pros, some of the kids up here are as good of the pros its just not their dream, they just want to have fun.

not everyone has sleds and can do that...just saying, but if you want to take everyone to jackson, then i bet a lot more people would kill the BC..haha

Not cool man. You just made me spray milk out of my nose and all over my keyboard.

The talent pool in Summit County is insane. I consider myself a decent skier. Really good at all mtn, B.C. and powder, but trying to ski park at Keystone or Breck is just downright embarassing. I ride A51 just to appreciate the local talent as much as I do it to progress in park. It is just incredibly fun and motivating to ski a park where there are that many talented skiers seshin'.

The majority of the kids you see kiling it at breck and keystone did not grow up there. I'd say that most are east coast/midwest transplants.

why don't you all come to mammoth and tahoe and not spend every single day of your life in the park? Cause thats all i see from those kids in Colorado, not sayin that they don't have the sickest park game..

umm, no, russ is from alaska, brian from montana, jake from colorado...they are from all over, the steeziest people in summit are from montana (delorme) and new mexico (jaron)

It is true alot of people grew up in the east, but the guys who make it big all move out west before they are too old, they need the bigger mountains and parks to keep progressing.

dude you just named four pple. look i can do that too, phillipi, marion, felton, gilberti, lampert, clarke, dumont, west. need i go on?

this thread i believe was about where the deepest talent pool IS, not where the kids came from.....in this case keystone/breck take the prize along with PC.

no doubt theres' tons from especially the midwest here but i would say that there is tons of kids that are local...bobby lots of the lethal kids grat and sooo much more

He proabably stopped skiing in Mass. at age 14, moved west and then started getting unbelievable, because is there even a 50 degree slpe in Mass?

what's the point of your list? like 3 people on it are locals, and they;re all known, this thread is talking about the unknowns and up and comers. you could have at least said people who live here, if i was going to make a list like that i can go on too, or i could name one name and destroy yours.

haha. ok, well, colby west lived with simon dumont in dillon this year, (dumont is a summit county resident, thats a fact) henrick lampert, michael clarke, matt philliipi and taylor felton had a house in breck, another fact. so thats 6 pple from new england ive mentioned who have talent and live in summit county. what more do u want? not trying to argue, but jesus, man, if ur gonna try and call me out you gotta at least know whats up.
